Avicii Cancels Remaining 2016 Vegas Shows
Breaking news – it appears that Avicii (Tim Bergling) has cancelled his remaining 2016 Las Vegas shows at Encore Beach Club and XS, citing “personal” reasons.

He’s been replaced by a variety of DJs in the XS residency roster. It doesn’t appear that the EBC and XS websites are updated yet – events on the Discotech app have been updated! Here are the replacements:

A longtime staple in the Las Vegas EDM scene, Avicii recently announced his retirement from touring after 2016 in a heartfelt Facebook post to fans – “…I will however never let go of music – I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang!”
Avicii’s Wynn Las Vegas 2016 residency will be your last chance to see him live in Las Vegas. “We spoke with Avicii’s team and, although we are sad to see him retire, we are happy to report that he is honoring all of his upcoming 13 dates at Wynn Las Vegas (Encore Beach Club and XS) through June,” said Christie. “We support Tim’s journey in life and wish him the very best. He knows our door is always open should he decide to tour again.”

EBC 2016 DJ Residencies & Dates Revealed
Encore Beach Club, aka “The Happiest Place on Earth” is the first dayclub to reveal a list of performers set to perform this spring, from its opening day on March 4 through Memorial Day weekend in late May.
Resident DJs on EBC’s 2016 roster include RL Grime, Audien, Dillon Francis, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Diplo, Skrillex, Kaskade, Avicii, Alesso, A-Trak, and more.
A nighttime pool party, EBC at Night, will also return this season on most Thursday and Friday nights starting April 28.
The 2016 Memorial Day Weekend schedule features an all-star lineup including Skrillex, Zedd, Diplo, Avicii, Kaskade, and David Guetta.
