Midnight Pool Party / Nightswim, Azure Beach Lounge, Dubai

This party hotel in JBR has all the entertainment you could want – from sumo wrestling brunches at Lock, Stock & Barrel JBR – The Walk to dancing at the late night clubbing spot that is Inner City Zoo and the restaurant and bar STK. And now it’s time to party in the pool. The Vogue Midnight Pool Party at Azure Beach Club runs through until 1am every Saturday night. It’s Dhs400 to enter, but you’ll get half that back to spend on food and drinks. There are cool beats, inflatable sun loungers (as well as those double beds on islands in the pool) and pool service to keep you going through until the early hours.

Thursday Pool Party, Barasti, Dubai

If you want to see in the weekend in spectacular fashion head to this late-night pool party at one of the city’s most famous beach bars. Every Thursday at Barasti you’ll get unlimited grape, bubbly or hops for Dhs100 for ladies, and a happy hour for chaps from 8pm until 10pm. Get some laid-back weekend vibes, with party tracks and club classics being blared out beside Barasti’s super-cool swimming pool.

Rooftop Soirée, The Burj Club, Dubai

As the summer drew to a close, The Burj Club announced the return of the Rooftop Soirée. Every Thursday and Friday, you can dine, drink and dip at the world’s tallest tower from 6pm until 11pm, with your Dhs175 entry fee coming back with Dhs100 credit to spend on food and drink. Expect cool Downtown vibes at this laid-back poolside party spot, plus what better way to take in the views of the world’s largest dancing waters?

Liquid Nation, The H Dubai

Formerly hosted at Fairmont Dubai, Liquid Nation has moved just up the road to The H Dubai, at the Glow pool, and dishes out unlimited mixed drinks for ladies all night, as well as free entry. It promises a Las Vegas vibe, and we’re expecting big things from the party this season.

Candypants Ladies’ Day, The Penthouse, Dubai

This rooftop bar is fast becoming one of the city’s most popular destinations thanks to it’s beautiful views, which you’ll find splashed across Instagram pages of residents and tourists alike. And if you’re in a party kind of mood, the best way to experience it is on a Saturday. The Candypants Ladies’ Day (which gents are invited to, too) is a fantastically fun way of spending a weekend afternoon, and serves up food, drinks, pool party fun and boutique fashion brands every Saturday from noon until 8pm.

Tropical Brunch, Zero Gravity, Dubai

Wait, what was that? That was your afternoon whizzing bye in the blink of a sunglass-adorned eye. Every Friday (and Saturday) there’s a huge poolside and beachside brunch that kicks off at 1pm, but includes beach and bed access from 8am if you get there early enough. You’ll get unlimited food and drink and some huge beats to accompany your afternoon spent chilling out in Zero Gravity’s famous glass-fronted infinity pool.

Nikki Beach Dubai Season Opening Party

Fans of Nikki Beach, listen up, the world-famous beach club brand is reopening its Dubai branch this weekend (Saturday September 1) after a summer break.

It may still be pretty toasty outside, but that won’t stop us donning our finest swimmers and getting ready to welcome the winter beach club season in.

On Saturday (September 1), Nikki Beach in Pearl Jumeira will be hosting La Vie en Rose – the first of the season’s Saturday brunch offerings.

Make a booking and you’ll be able to lounge by the awesome pool and on the beach – which has stunning views out to sea – all day long from 11am until 9pm. The brunch package itself is Dhs265 for soft drinks, Dhs395 for grape and hops, and Dhs465 for grape, hops and shorts.

And to really kick of the beach club season, the venue’s hosting a Deluxe Pool Party on Friday September 21. The massive party runs from 11am until 9pm, and promises to be a “Hawaiian-themed event like no other”. Beats will be provided by Nikki Beach’s resident DJs, while the pool will be packed with fun inflatables. There will also be Hawaiian dishes to nibble on, too. That calls for a new swimsuit, we’d say.

Meanwhile, ladies, gather your pals and head down to the swanky beach club on a Tuesday, where for Dhs130 you’ll get six drinks and a bed to sunbathe on all day. Get there early though, as it’s on a first come, first served basis.

And finally, if you fancy something a little more sedate, book in for the Nikki Beach Treat. Until the end of September you’ll get a two-hour signature treatment from Nikki Spa, a healthy lunch at Café Nikki and access to the pool and beach for just Dhs699.
