Zedd Announces Residency with Ayu Dayclub & Zouk Las Vegas

Zedd is helping lead the return of nightlife in one of dance music’s biggest hubs.

On Wednesday (April 7), the producer announced a new Las Vegas residency at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub, venues inside the recently built Resorts World Las Vegas. The residency will run until 2023, with show dates and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks. Additional artists will also be announced.

Zedd has previously held down residencies at Vegas mega-clubs Hakkasan, Omnia and Wet Republic Dayclub. The clubs inside the 3,500-room Resorts World Las Vegas are the first in the U.S. to be run by Zouk Group, a lifestyle and entertainment company out of Singapore. Resorts World Las Vegas is the first new resort property to be built on the Strip in more than a decade.

“After several iconic performances at Zouk Group venues over the last decade, we are proud to now partner with Zedd and continue our longstanding relationship with him,” Andrew Li, Chief Executive Officer of Zouk Group, says in a press release. “To provide such a visionary in the music industry with a brand-new stage at the Strip’s newest resort is truly an honor, and guests can expect an immersive show experience that extends well beyond a traditional DJ set.”

Wynn Nightlife Releases The New 2020 Residencies

The Update:

A few days ago, Wynn Nightlife published their 2020 residencies. They have a huge 2020 reved up and ready for fans on both the two major clubs  XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. (which for those that don’t know is also Encore Beach Club at Night) They’ve expanded DJ talent, as well as bringing back past residencies.

So let’s get right to it. The big-name that’s got everyone wildin right now is Drake. Drake returns for his XS Nightclub residency and brings along with him some of the biggest names in EDM. New residents include Alison Wonderland, Two Friends and Gryffin. The returning stars in alphabetical order are Alesso, The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Diesel, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Elephante, Kygo, Major Lazer, RL Grime, SAYMYNAME, and Valentino Khan.

Not only that but Wynn says they are remodeling their stage to embrace the techno sounds of world renowned DJs including Bedouin, Chris Lake, CAMELPHAT, FISHER, Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ Set), Nicole Moudaber, Nora en Pure and The Martinez Brothers.

Chainsmokers Signs Residency with XS, Encore Beach Club

If you ever want to see The Chainsmokers in a nightclub again, you’re going to have to head to Las Vegas.

The Chainsmokers have signed an exclusive three-year deal with Wynn Nightlife which guarantees its properties XS and Encore Beach Club will be the only night and dayclubs where the chart-topping, Grammy-nominated duo will perform live from now through 2019. In previous years the Chainsmokers were featured at Omnia and Hakkasan.

“We are so thrilled to have this residency at the Wynn,” the duo’s Alex Pall is quoted in a press release. “They represent the best of what Las Vegas nightclubs have to offer and we look forward to a great partnership.”

The “Closer” guys are no stranger to Las Vegas. In 2016’s Billboard cover story, the duo revealed its recent move to Los Angeles was partly inspired by a need to be closer to Sin City. So far, 10 dates have been announced with the kick-off at XS Friday, Jan. 6, with dates running until Friday, May 12, 2017.

Kaskade Reveals Residency at Omnia / Hakkasan Group Las Vegas

Global hospitality company Hakkasan Group, announced today the first new artist to join the 2017 talent lineup, Kaskade. The Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, producer, and musician will join what has been known to be an unprecedented roster with a multi-venue, long-term residency, making his debut Friday, Dec. 30 at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

Known for selling out multiple iconic concert venues and arenas, Kaskade will bring his innovative and chart-topping hits to a number of Hakkasan Group venues including OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, Jewel Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino, as well as Hakkasan Nightclub and Wet Republic Pool Club at MGM Grand.

“Hakkasan Group has built some of the most mind-blowing clubs on Earth – right in Las Vegas,” said Kaskade. “I couldn’t be happier to be joining the Hakkasan family and look forward to holding down a residency with them.”
