Las Vegas Pool Parties Open for 2021 Season

Looking for updates on the status of the Las Vegas pool party scene in 2021? Also, checking for the guest list for pool parties in Vegas?

Most of the major Las Vegas pool parties will reopen in March of 2021, but the scene will still be vastly different from the past. No general admission or guest list will be available – bottle service reservations are required for all guests.

Encore Beach Club at Encore Las Vegas joins the list of adult pools returning as a more serene environment. Now dubbed Encore Beach Club Pool returns on Friday, March 5, with weekend hours, live music, and food and drink. The pool for those age 21 and older takes reservations for Fridays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas returns on Friday, March 5, as the Pool Marquee, dubbed “an amplified, more mature pool experience for guests 21 years or older with reservations.” The pool expanded its seating areas, including an exclusive new section by the deejay, and added five new bungalow cabanas. Resident DJs will be spinning tunes. The Pool Marquee will be open from 11 a.m. to sunset each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reservations are required, especially for daybeds, cabanas, and tables. Mandalay Bay Beach and its 11-acre aquatic playground returns in March with a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, lazy river, 2,700 tons of sand, and more. Daylight Beach Club returns March 5. The adults-only Moorea Beach Club also returns in March.

Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage reopens in March 19 from 11 a.m. to 4. p.m. Friday through Sunday for those 21 and older. The resort’s pool already reopened Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wet Republic Ultra Pool, the pool experience at the MGM Grand, also returns on Friday, March 5, as an extension of the resort pool. Reservations are required for hotel and non-hotel guests and all visitors must be 21 and over. No general admission is permitted. Wet Republic Ultra Pool will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. until close.

Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria reopens on Friday, March 12, as an extension of the resort pool. Liquid Pool Lounge will be open Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. until close for those 21 and older. Reservations are required for hotel and non-hotel guests and all visitors must be 21 and over. No general admission is permitted.

Drai’s Beach Club is one of the few pool parties that has yet to announce any plans for the 2021 pool season.

As the weekend draws closer, more and more venues will open their doors to the public. Shows are plenty during Thursday nights but still not quite like the weekend yet. Well, don’t take my word for it, but you probably don’t want to go too crazy just yet.

Hakkasan

The undisputed number one on this list, Hakkasan is easily one of the best clubs on the Strip, or even the world. Hakkasan is a 80,000 square feet, five story mega nightclub with lounges, restaurants all within the premises. While the main room primarily plays EDM, the Ling Ling Lounge and Ling Ling Room on the third floor has someone spin Hip Hop on most nights. The DJs that grace the stage of the main room are always the biggest names around like Calvin Harris and Tiesto. Drais Nightclub

Drai’s is the crown jewel and prized brainchild of nightlife guru Victor Drai. In one of his interviews, Drai famously said that he designed this place inch by inch. Every section of the club is exceptionally well thought out and the state-of-art sound systems along with probably the best visual effects on the strip gives Drai’s a pretty respected place in the Las Vegas nightlife scene. Note that we do have a guestlist at Drai’s on most nights so make sure you sign up to save a few bucks.

Encore Beach Club at Night

The late night counterpart of the best day party in Las Vegas, EBC at night does not disappoint at all. Performing talent is not as great as Encore Beach Club during the day offers but do expect lineups to be pretty solid still. A climate controlled dome also makes sure that parties goes on all year long. If you want to save up your nightclub energy for the upcoming weekend. Taking a dip at the pools in EBC at night might just be the perfect choice for you.

Tao

Tao, one of the everlasting mega clubs on the strip, offers a full Vegas experience with 60,000 square feet of pure entertainment including a nightclub, beach club, lounge, restaurant and banquet hall. If you had dinner at its restaurant, you can go straight into the club afterwards without having to lineup or pay a cover (this might not be applicable to holiday weekends and busy weeks). Liquid

Located at the excellent Aria Hotel, Liquid is a comparatively smaller pool party venue compared to the average Vegas day club. However, it does have lower minimums and ticket prices which mean you can save a few bucks for the expensive ones later on. Regardless, if you are looking for a more relaxed place to spend you morning afternoon in a pool but still with music, Liquid is the place to go.

Golden State Warriors Party in Las Vegas

Members of the Golden State Warriors basketball team spent some time partying in the Las Vegas nightclubs and dayclubs in celebration of their championship win. The staff prepared special cakes, head shot cutouts, and elaborate presentations with champagne in their honor.

Say this for the Dubs, they left no stone, or major Strip resort, unturned. Add Wynn/Encore to a list including Aria (Jewel Nightclub and Liquid Day Lounge), Cosmopolitan (Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub), The Cromwell (Drai’s), Mandalay Bay (the Mandalay Bay Events Center for Saturday’s Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev fight) and MGM Grand (Topgolf). At least one Warrior, and usually several, was spotted at each of these party retreats.

Finals MVP Kevin Durant was typically in the eye of the frivolity, joined by co-owners Joseph Lacob and Peter Guber. Encore Beach Club was the most recent reported sighting from the Warriors’ casino crawl. Green, Klay Thompson, JaVale McGee, Andre Iguodala, Matt Barnes and Ian Clark were lavished with attention and bottle service.

The team’s next move should be to display the championship trophy at the Aria porte cochère, or the DJ booth at Jewel, or somewhere. And put a tip cup in front of it, because I understand the purse strings were pretty tight from this bunch.
