Hakkasan, Omnia, Wet Republic Announce 2016 DJ Residencies

Hakkasan Group — the folks behind nightclubs Hakkasan and Omnia as well as Wet Republic dayclub — today revealed its full 2016 Las Vegas DJ residency lineup.

Calvin Harris tops the list alongside Tiësto, who’ve both signed multi-year contracts.

Notable new additions include Armin van Buuren (formerly signed with Marquee), Lil Jon (formerly with XS/Wynn), Chuckie (formerly with Marquee), Axwell^Ingrosso (formerly with Light/Daylight), Steve Angello (formerly with LiFE/SLS), and Oliver Heldens. Check out the full list below.

Steve Angello Kicks Off His Residency at Omnia

Following the split of legendary group Swedish House Mafia in 2012, producers Axwell and Ingrosso started touring together as Axwell ^ Ingrosso, and Steve Angello forged his own path to individual stardom. Following an intense tour schedule, the renowned producer has settled down for a residency at the Hakkasan-owned Omnia club. Bringing a stadium vibe to a club setting, Omnia and Angello have curated a performance rivaling one at any music festival.

Opening on a dramatic and jubilant note similar to announcing royalty, the trumpet-adorned melody eventually quiets down into a tantalizing breakdown as lights cascade down the walls of the club. As cellos make their entrance into the sequence, extraterrestrial ceiling lights brighten the room while the Swedish DJ cues startling light flashes out into the crowd. Heart of Omnia Ultralounge at Caesar’s Palace to Debut Alongside Omnia

Hakkasan Group has announced its first ultra-lounge concept, Heart of Omnia, will open on March 13 alongside the new Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace.

Heart of Omnia is described as a “dark, plush, and intimate space highlighting a rich and sultry material palette that plays on masculine and feminine design elements.” Positioned next to the nightclub’s entrance and adjoining the main club, Heart of Omnia will serve as a lounge for VIP guests and swanky waiting area for the VIP bottle service guests waiting to be seated at tables. Similar to Hakkasan’s Ling Ling Club, Heart of Omnia will also feature a music from the main nightclub. While Omnia’s main room showcases a wide variety of EDM talent, Heart of Omnia will will feature more top 40/hip hop, with a talent list that includes DJ Ruckus and Rev Run, Questlove, DJ Irie, DJ Jazzy Jeff, D-Nice and Eric D-Lux, and DJ Five.

The VIP destination is owned and operated by Hakkasan Group with assistance from The h.wood Group, previously acquired by the global hospitality company last June.

“We welcomed The h.wood Group to the Hakkasan Group family last Spring with the intention of joining our teams to deliver new concepts and unmatched offerings for our guests,” said Nick McCabe, President of Hakkasan Group in a press release. “Heart of OMNIA is an exciting project for us as it combines the knowledge and talents from both our companies. We are thrilled to unveil this next level premiere ultra-lounge concept to the Las Vegas market as it truly will be a unique experience.”

Omnia Reveals 2015 DJ Residency Roster

Omnia Nightclub, the latest vegas superclub (taking over Pure’s old space at the Caeser’s Palace) announced today an initial line up for it’s 2015 season.

The resident DJ headliners for Omnia include heavy hitters such as Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Chuckie, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Nervo, Krewella, Oliver Heldens, and Showtek.

The state-of-the-art venue revealed an impressive lighting system, a domed four-story roof with a sleek open-air deck, and a VIP mezzanine booth that takes its stylistic cues from European opera houses.

“We are pleased to welcome an unprecedented lineup of award-winning, global artists to Omnia and to provide our guests an entertainment experience that is unmatched in Las Vegas,” says Neil Moffitt, CEO of Hakkasan Group. “The caliber of artists planned for Omnia, combined with the nightclub’s seductive design, state-of-the-art sound, lighting systems and technology will take guests on an immersive, ever-evolving and unforgettable journey.”

Resident artist Afrojack says Omnia would provide a unique nightlife experience “unlike anything that has been in Vegas before.”

“I was really excited when the Hakkasan Group team shared the initial designs and involved me in a large part of the planning of the sound system, lights, effects and a whole range of other details throughout the club,” he says. “I am confident Omnia will set a new standard in nightlife and I am very proud to be a part of it.”

Tickets for Omnia will go on sale Feburary 2, 2015. Omnia’s grand opening is scheduled for Friday March 13, 2015, with Calvin Harris on the decks.

Hakkasan’s management group has had a busy 2014. In the past few months alone the Vegas powerhouse has acquired a 90% stake in Light Group and wrapped up the finishing touches on a new Vegas superclub, Omnia at the Caesar’s Palace. Hakkasan has just released a list of their 2015 Residents DJs – they’ve brought back a few favorites such as Tiesto and Hardwell and added a bunch of new talent as well. Omnia Nightclub at Caesar’s Palace Announced

Hakkasan Group today revealed the name of its latest nightclub project inside Caesars Palace: Omnia Nightclub.

Currently slated to open Spring 2015, Omnia will take over the space of the former PURE Nightclub, which closed May of this year. A renovation valued at $80 to $100 million is underway now to transform the space into the new 75,000 square-foot multi-level venue.

Calvin Harris is rumored to be Omnia’s first resident headliner.

Omnia will include an ultra-lounge, a main room and mezzanine, and a rooftop garden, with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.

“Hakkasan Group prides itself on consistently setting new standards for excellence within the hospitality industry and creating exceptional experiences for our guests,” said Neil Moffitt, CEO of Hakkasan Group.

“With Omnia, we look forward to introducing a new luxurious nightlife environment by providing unexpected and bespoke elements of intrigue and opulence that have yet to be seen in a nightclub setting.”
