The Aquatic Club Debuts at the Palazzo

Everything you’ve heard about boozy popsicle delivery, floating ping-pong and poolside sausage pizza—is 100% real.

Enjoy:

Make a beeline for the Aquatic Club, a more sophisticated approach to dancing in a pool while consuming startling amounts of rum punch, now open at the Palazzo Pool Deck.

Fact: There are already several Vegas dayclubs designed for you and your swimwear-clad compatriots to do fun stuff by chlorinated bodies of water.

Other fact: You may not desire them as much now that there’s this hospitable 1950s-sports-club-inspired array of colorful cabanas with a poolside bicyclist ready to deliver you boozy popsicles.

Spend an upcoming lazy afternoon here. Depending on the day, you may be privy to a DJ, synchronized swimmers or floating ping-pong. If you receive some poolside spa treatments, too, so be it. That’s just how life goes sometimes.

So kick back and seize the opportunity to drink large-format, Prohibition-era cocktails. And eat Wolfgang Puck’s Italian sausage pizza, before taking a dip in the pool.

That is, 15 to 30 minutes before taking a dip in the pool.

Lavo Champagne Brunch Returns to Las Vegas

As one door closes, another opens.

Summer pool season in Vegas is coming to an end. Looking to daydrink? Check out Lavo Champagne Brunch at the Palazzo. The party runs every Saturday from 2 to 6 PM. You can arrive earlier for the “brunch” portion – party starts at 2 PM.

Free admission on the Discotech guestlist – show up before 4 PM and say you’re on Discotech’s guestlist.

Looking to book a table? Download the Discotech App to view options and book!

Or, arrive early to eat and stay late to party.

As any good party should, each has a theme. The first week has a beach theme, followed by celebrating DJ Vice’s birthday on Oct. 15. Many themes are still TBA but this is what we know:

  • Oct 22 – Lingerie Brunch
  • Oct 29 – Halloween Brunch
  • Dec 10 – Cowboy Brunch
  • Dec 24 – Xmas Brunch
  • Dec 31 – NYE Brunch

And a good party should have liquor, right? Guests can order $75 pitchers and $150 brunch bowls of cucumber mint Rickeys; The Hampton with Hangar One vodka, Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, Hornitos tequila, Boodle’s gin, Cointreau, citrus and a splash of Pepsi; Get Kinky with Prairie vodka, Kinky liqueur, ginger beer and citrus; raspberry lemonade; Kentucky lemonade with Maker’s Mark 46 bourbon, Cointreau and lemonade; mango margarita; and more. Lavo, of course, also has a regular brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Below, the party brunch menu.
