Top 10 Best Bachelor Party Activities In Los Angeles

Headed to Los Angeles for a bachelor party soon and need to find some fantastic bachelor party ideas fast? On top of dinners and nightclubs, you’ll need to plan afternoon and early-evening group activities for the bachelor and his group that are fun and memorable, while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

Southern California is known for its almost year-round pleasant weather that draws visitors seeking to escape the colder climates of their hometowns; many of its residents are transplants to the state who once upon a time visited from parts of the U.S. further north or east – or their parents / grandparents / great-grandparents did – and decided they loved it here so much that they didn’t want to leave. The fabulous weather and endless array of recreational and entertainment options has drawn nearly 13 million residents to metro Los Angeles, 4 million of which live within the city boundaries of L.A., which is the state’s economic center and largest city.

The L.A that out-of-town visitors – 48 million a year! – want to see is most likely the “Hollywood / Venice Beach” one: steamy summer temps, laid-back chill vibes, sheer opulence, fast money, fashionably glamorous excess, and glitzy sensory overload.  Of course, the locals and insiders are happy to deliver upon those stereotypes, because that’s the version that tourists pay handsomely to witness and be a part of. And Angelenos surely play that fiddle in harmonious tune, because more tourists visiting SoCal will mean more revenues generated and jobs created for the state’s sun-kissed residents!

1) The Night King Cometh – Nightclubs

https://youtu.be/ptK2ZRB6A-0
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for the best LA nightclub recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain free clubs in LA have a guest list); $5-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP tables)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00PM-11:15PM (avoid long lines and waits)

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry gents: the activity of nightclubbing HAS to be #1 and #1A on any Los Angeles bachelor party list. Why, you say? Greater L.A.– and Hollywood in particular – is a legendary party epicenter that epitomizes international debauchery; with the lone exception of Las Vegas and maybe NYC, you just can’t really get such high-quality versions of this revelry anywhere else in America. There are hundreds of clubbing options in the city, including clubs in Ktown, to match your budget, vibe, and music type whether you’re into electronic, hip-hop, Top 40, or Latin / international beats. Also, no matter which club you end up at, you should always keep your eyes open – this is the playground of Hollywood’s entertainment stars, so you never know when a celebrity or two might pop up at the table next to you. One thing to note is that places get packed earlier in the night – 10:30-11:30pm are when most spots start to fill up – and close down at 2:00am. To party like a local, we recommend you schedule your dinner in the 7-9pm range and then head to the club straight afterward without having to stop at your hotel to change – your night will feel smoother and less rushed, and your clubbing time and budget as well as the bachelor’s fun will stretch out further.

2) Life’s a Beach – L.A. Beaches

Santa Monica Beach & Pier - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue (Location): Varies by location / atmosphere
  • Cost Per Person: Free (parking fees for pay lots)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-12:00AM or 3:00PM-6:00PM (avoid the sun’s strongest midday rays so you don’t turn into a lobster)

There’s a good chance your bachelor chose L.A. for his vacation for the same reason most of the world did: the beaches. The best thing about the beaches in Southern California is that 99% of them are open to the public and they’re free to access. Whether your stag party is searching for an isolated destination to snooze and recharge the battery or wants to spend a day at a busy “see and be seen” strip of sand and surf, L.A. caters to all tastes and offers a variety of beaches to choose from. Some beaches in L.A. are dotted with palm trees to provide a shady respite from the heat, while others are perfect for quickly getting that pre-wedding bronze that will make those groomsmen squad pics pop off. Some have serene and glassy waters that call for a good book; others boast rolling, crashing waves that scream out for surfboards and jetskis. The one thing that all L.A. county beaches have in common is their stunning and well-groomed natural beauty, and many area beaches likewise offer plenty of water activities and proximity to restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues to appease visiting tourists. Here is a list of our Top 10 beaches around Los Angeles:

  1. Santa Monica Beach – Trendy, close to restaurants & nightlife, older / international tourist crowds
  2. Venice Beach – Boardwalk with attractions, close to restaurants & bars, younger local / “party” tourist crowds
  3. Malibu Beach – Surfing (intermediate), birdwatching, upscale restaurants
  4. Manhattan Beach – Beach volleyball, kid-friendly, local families beach
  5. Zuma Beach – Surfing (beginner), kid-friendly, dolphin & sea lion watching
  6. Redondo Beach – Surfing (advanced), kayaking / paddleboarding, bike-riding
  7. El Matador Beach – Scenery (featured in many movies), sea caves, whale watching
  8. El Pescador Beach – Tide pools, fishing, quiet atmosphere
  9. Will Rogers State Beach – Kitesurfing, diving, sunbathing
  10. Leo Carrillo State Beach – Swimming, windsurfing, bicycling, scenery (featured in many movies)

3) Get Wet! – Pool Parties / Dayclubs

Pool party at W Hollywood rooftop - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for pool party recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $5-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP loungers, daybeds, & cabanas)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 1:00PM-3:00PM (avoid long lines and waits)

With the weather in L.A. so pristine for the better part of ten months out of the year, day drinking is a must for any bachelor party agenda…. and there are plenty daytime parties around the city that epitomize the sumptuous hedonism of the Hollywood lifestyle. At least one of these day parties on your bachelor weekend agenda is a must; even for guys who don’t like nightclubs, the eye candy, sunshine, cool plunges to beat the heat (and did we mention eye candy?) make it worth it.

For any bachelor party larger than four 4-5 gents, it’s a no-brainer to book a cabana or daybed with bottle service in order to maximize the fun; for a smaller stag-do or one that wants variety, we suggest purchasing presale tickets. Find one of the hottest events going on that weekend using our Discotech app, and go see one of your favorite DJs or performing artists. For a Saturday pool party, Wet at W Hollywood and Skybar are the best party scenes especially if money ain’t a thang; if you’re not in the mood for water sports, wait for Sunday and hit up Penthouse or Liaison, two of the best late-afternoon boozy brunch parties on the planet. Between the killer music lineups, badass surroundings, and (did we mention) eye candy, these four venues are head-and-shoulders above the rest if your bachelor is into nothing but the best.

4) Music To Your Ears – Live Music Venues

Hollywood Bowl outdoors - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music genre (click here for music venue recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: $10 and up (depending on show demand and seat location)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-6 hours (1-2 hour commute plus 2-4 hour show)
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2+ hours before show opening time (account for traffic and parking)

You, the bachelor, and the groomsmen may have long ago given up on your garage band’s dream of going Hollywood, but there are plenty of opportunities to relive that dream when visiting Tinseltown. There is no shortage of live music to be found in Los Angeles, one of the music entertainment capitals on the world; all across the City of Angels stretch various lounges, bars, restaurants, and even street performers offering up enticing song and instrument to entertain the city’s locals and visitors.

If your musical tastes are less mainstream and more niche – think rock, blues, country, reggae, classical, or pop of yesteryear – and your party vibe more chill, then on any given night it’s not hard to find at least one venue in L.A. with comfy chairs, in-seat drinks, great acoustics and sight lines, and a lineup of bands playing your jams. And if you want to go bachelor party big, music’s biggest superstars perform all over the city at world-famous state-of-the-art venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Staples Center, the Rose Bowl, and The Greek Theatre… and all have suites and VIP experiences that can be booked. And of course, even the nightclubs of Los Angeles also offer showstopping live performance spectacles featuring the best and brightest contemporary hip-hop and electronic music stars on certain nights.

5) Laugh ‘Til Your Sides Hurt – Comedy Shows

  • Venue (Location): Laugh Factory or Comedy Store
  • Cost Per Person: $15 and up plus two-drink minimum (drinks start at $8)
  • Time To Set Aside: 2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 6:30-7:30PM (early show begins at this time; allows group to go to bars / clubs afterward)

You and the lads are experts at busting each other’s balls and yukking it up in person and on group chats, so why not take it to the big leagues on this bachelor trip? Stand-up comedy sets are bigger and bolder in Hollywood than anywhere else in the world, and two legendary venues a mile apart on Sunset Boulevard are the laugh-quake epicenters. Originally designed as “artist’s colonies” for cultivating the unique art form of stand-up comedy via family-like environments for stand-ups to sharpen their tools and then “pay it forward” by mentoring newer comics, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory nowadays host all of the great comedians on Earth and have been doing so nonstop for over thirty years.

Up-and-coming talent (think Pete Davidson) and yesterday’s legends (think Dane Cook) share nightly sets with today’s superstars (think Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle) who taking breaks from their TV/film schedules to pop in unannounced and hone new comedic material. Drinks and food are served tableside while you enjoy the rapid-fire jokes, and a two-hour show breezes lightly and quickly through 6-8 comics each doing 10-15 minute sets with a short 1-2 minute break in between each set. It’s an ideal pregame activity to get you in the lighthearted mood for the heavy Hollywood partying later that night.

6) Hot Days, Cold Brews – Brewery Tour

Angel City Brewery - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue (Location): L.A. Beer Hop
  • Cost Per Person: $69 (includes transportation and samples at each brewery stop)
  • Time To Set Aside: 5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 12:00PM (5-hour tours start at this time)

The nationwide craft beer revolution – spurred by a broader movement toward community-based, locally inspired businesses – has in the last few years taken the City of Angels by storm. Los Angeles long staked its reputation on its craft food and cocktail scene, pristine beaches, and nightclubbing / VIP tables / bottle service. Lately though, it’s been building out a new local reputation for bars, taps, and quality craft beer, so if the bachelor is more into suds than spritzers we strongly recommend a hop on the L.A. Beer Hop. With seven unique tours showcasing LA’s craft beer scene, you’ll have a night of sampling the city’s very best plus a safe ride from one brewery to the next. Weekly tours meet in different L.A. neighborhoods Saturdays, but the guides are also available for private bookings any day of the week. The ticket price includes behind-the-scenes tours of each brewery and insights into the brewing processes that make each brand unique. L.A. brewers often break tradition using local tropical fruits and exotic Latin-influenced ingredients to create novel flavors for the most adventurous imbibers. Buckle Up and Bottoms Up!

7) Get to the CHOPPAAHH!!! – L.A. Helicopter Tour

Hollywood Helicopter Tour - Los Angeles, CA

  • Cost Per Person: $100 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 1.5 hours (35-45 minutes in air)
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 6:00PM (twilight / evening views of city are spectacular and skies are more colorful)

OK, so you and the bachelor know every word from every Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie and apply quotes from them to everything from coffee runs to yard work. Now is your chance to overuse your favorite quote, grab your aviator shades, and take to the star-studded Hollywood night skies for an epic aerial action-movie adventure. Your birds-eye tour of the City of Angels departs from Burbank Airport then passes over the The Getty Center, the Playboy Mansion, Downtown L.A., the Hollywood Sign, Universal Studios, and Dodger Stadium. Your pilot is an experienced professional tour guide who will point out the sights rapid-fire while educating you on facts about the geology, topography, history, and culture of one of the largest, most well-known, and most colorful landmark treasures in all of America. (We mean Los Angeles, not The Terminator / Kindergarten Cop.)

Los Angeles street food vendors

  • Cost Per Person: $55 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM (tours start at this time)

Ahh, street food: the perfect cure for a bachelor party hangover. If last night’s bacon-wrapped hot dog outside of the club didn’t quite do the trick, then you’ll need to set aside a few midday hours for an epic “Only in LA” experience like this. With its numerous cultural landmarks and small businesses, Downtown LA is well-known for its plethora of historic and artistic contributions to broader American culture. DTLA food tours aim to celebrate both the social aspect of food in bringing people together; a 3-hour walking tour of this sprawling Los Angeles neighborhood is the most ideal excursion, and expert tour guides will delve deep into its history, traditions, and local customs… which of course includes introducing you to some of the city’s most delicious street food along the winding journey. In homage to L.A.’s deep Hispanic roots, the Downtown Los Angeles Taco Tour does a deep dive on a heavenly dish made famous by the City of Angels: the authentic street taco. Along the walk you’ll visit three taquerias and one or two cantinas and learn about different styles of tacos and culinary history and tips, while of course sampling both traditional and innovative versions of the taco washed down by cold traditional beverages.

9) Play Ball! – Live Professional Sports Games

  • Venue (Location): Varies by sport
  • Cost Per Person: $40 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2 hours before scheduled game time (so you can pregame tailgate plus be in your seat for the National Anthem)

Sports is the bonding language for males the world over, and Los Angeles is a strong candidate for the unofficial title of Sports Capital of the World. The Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) rebuilt and modernized L.A.’s historic reputation as a sports mecca, and as a result they’ve recently scored the MLB All-Star Game in 2020 (to be rescheduled), Super Bowl LVI in 2022, and the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in 2023; L.A. is also a host city finalist for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.  Southern California is home to no less than eleven (11) major American professional sports franchises:

  • National Basketball Association (NBA): Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers
  • National Hockey League (NHL): Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks
  • Major League Baseball (MLB): Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels
  • National Football League (NFL): Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams
  • Major League Soccer (MLS): Los Angeles FC, LA Galaxy
  • Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA): Los Angeles Sparks

Rams owner Stan Kroenke is putting the finishing touches on the $5 billion USD Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park in Inglewood; this game-changing state-of-the-art sports complex follows on the heels of the completion of the 22,000-seat Banc of California Stadium and significant investments to upgrade the iconic STAPLES Center and the legendary LA Memorial Coliseum. The City of Angels also hosts major tournaments year-round in niche sports such as auto racing, e-sports, tennis, and surfing. Add to these world-class venues and events perfect outdoor weather and the unrivaled access to celebrities, talent, and media that comes with being in the epicenter of the entertainment industry, and you have a perfect storm of reasons for the lads to anchor the bachelor weekend around an exciting professional sports match or two.

10) Get Lost, Take A Hike – Outdoor Hiking

Runyon Canyon - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue (Location): Runyon Canyon (Hollywood Hills)
  • Cost Per Person: Free
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM-1:00PM (more crowded / active scene, plus avoid the brutal afternoon heat)

Got some gym rats and health nuts in the bachelor party demanding to break a healthy sweat at some point in the weekend? Located just 20 minutes from most L.A. neighborhoods, Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills is worth the short commute and offers a variety of challenging hiking trails. We know you’re all about the beautiful views though, and with its heavenly perch high above the City of Angels, Runyon Canyon is the perfect 3-4 hour jaunt for spectacular skyline lovers (you can see all the way to Downtown LA) and Instagram influencers alike. And if you’re lucky, you might even catch some wild rabbits and other critters while you’re out on those trails getting your exercise on and sweating out the alcohol from the night before… or preemptively burning calories for the night to come. Oh, did you mean a different kind of beautiful views? Runyon Canyon has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for the impossibly fit UCLA & USC co-eds as well as the local women who tend bars, serve cocktails, are aspiring actresses and models, or otherwise drive the L.A. nightlife and entertainment economy forward on the basis of their stunning good looks.

Bonus Activity: Ladies of the Night

  • Venue (Location): Varies
  • Cost Per Person: $20 cover charge (lap dance / champagne room prices vary)
  • Time To Set Aside: Umm… zero hours. None of you were ever here, right?
  • Best Time of Day to Go: Anytime

For 99% of bachelor parties, a late-night strip club trip is a standard item on the agenda. Los Angeles is one of the better cities in America for gentlemen’s clubs, not only for quality of young “talent” but for variety as well. When it comes to the best overall scenes, Ace of Diamonds and Crazy Girls and are the top choices if you are still in Hollywood late night and have struck out at the nightclubs; if you’re closer to the west side, we recommend you direct the troops to Silver Reign. Or, try Bare Elegance near LAX if you have a few hours to kill before your flight out of town – it’s a classier, roomier, more upscale experience that’s the tried-and-true way to put the cherry on top of your epic L.A. bachelor party (and might be the last time the bachelor can get away with going to an establishment of this nature).

In conclusion: Los Angeles is definitely a bachelor party destination where a lot of good times can be had by a group of lads along all points of the budget spectrum. It is a magical beachfront oasis where both indoor and outdoor activities can spice up any bachelor party agenda… if you know the lay of the land. Top 10 Best Bachelor Party Activities In Miami / South Beach [Updated 2023]

Headed to Miami for a bachelor party soon? On top of dinners and nightclubs, you’ll need to plan afternoon and early-evening group activities for the bachelor and his group that are fun and memorable, while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

The state of Florida is known as a warm-weather haven for snowbirds, i.e. seasonal residents and visitors who during the winter escape the colder climates of their hometowns for its supremely pleasant October-to-March calendar stretch. In fact, many Floridians themselves are transplants to the state who once upon a time visited from parts of the U.S. further north – or their parents / grandparents / great-grandparents did – and decided they loved it here so much that they didn’t want to leave. The fabulous weather – and in the few months when it’s not fabulous, they’ve got air-conditioners and heaters! – combined with the relatively low cost of living has drawn 21.5 million residents to Florida, 6.2 million of which live in the metro area of Miami which is the state’s economic center and largest city.

The Miami that most out-of-town visitors know is the South Beach one: steamy summer temps, white and neon tones, sheer opulence, fast money, stylish excess, and glitzy sensory overload.  Of course, the locals and insiders are happy to deliver upon those stereotypes, because that’s the version that tourists pay handsomely to witness and be a part of. And South Floridians surely play that fiddle in harmonious tune, because more tourists to Miami in general and SoBe specifically mean more revenues generated and jobs created for the state’s sun-kissed residents!

Why is planning a bachelor party so hard?

Your bachelor has just chosen the Magic City as the destination city and assembled his crew; now you’re on the hook to make magic happen and desperately need all the bachelor party ideas Miami has to offer. So you let out a big sigh, open up your laptop and hop on the internets, and get to work on mapping out this epic weekend in Miami.  You’re halfway through planning the shindig, and you’ve already locked down a great room rate at one of Miami’s top hotels. As you start your bachelor party activities search, you know you’re not totally a lost puppy – a handful of you may have partied in South Florida a couple times in the past with and without the man of honor, and you’ve got some local friends in high and low places who are willing to offer sound and not-so-sound recommendations – but of course you wouldn’t mind having a professional to guide you. You know, someone who can take all those half-formed suggestions floating around and give you accurate, actionable answers?

So without further adieu, here is our Top 10 list of the best and most entertaining bachelor party activities to partake of while in Miami in order to ensure a memorable stag party experience.

1. The Night King Cometh – Nightclubs

https://youtu.be/XffLoQzyvCM
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for nightclub recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $10-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP tables)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00PM-12:00AM (avoid long lines and waits)

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry gents: the activity of nightclubbing HAS to be #1 and #1A on any Miami bachelor party list. Why, you say? Greater Miami – and South Beach in particular – is a legendary party epicenter that epitomizes international debauchery; with the exceptions of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and NYC, you just can’t really get such high-quality versions of this revelry anywhere else in America. And on top of that, Miami nightlife has got three YUUUUGE advantages over those other cities:

  1. Many of the best clubs in Miami are in walking distance or a cheap Uber / Lyft ride from each other in South Beach, so bar or club crawling – either planned or impromptu – is easy to pull off.
  2. There are hundreds of clubbing options in the city to match your budget, vibe, and music type whether you’re into electronic, hip-hop, Top 40, or Latin / international beats.
  3. Places don’t get packed until later in the night – 12:30-1:30am are when most spots start to fill up – and stay open longer and often well into the early morning – so you can enjoy your day activities and dinners without feeling rushed, and your clubbing budget as well as the bachelor’s fun will stretch out further.

2. Drive for Show, Putt for Dough – Golf / TopGolf

Topgolf Miami at dusk
  • Venue (Location): TopGolf (Miami Gardens)
  • Cost Per Person: $30.00 and up per hour (bay rental; does not include club rental or buckets of balls)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 5:00PM-9:00PM (twilight skies offer majestic backdrop for watching balls take flight)

The aforementioned incredible weather throughout most of the year makes South Florida a prime destination for grabbing the sticks and hitting the links. If the bachelor in your group fancies himself more “Tiger Woods” than “Tiger King” then there are plenty of wonderful golf courses around town with different levels of challenge and volume/formality to whet his appetite for gripping and ripping. Whether or not your crew hits the actual links in the daytime, you’ll want to find your way to TopGolf in the late afternoon. Now operating in 50 US cities, TopGolf is interactive video game golf come to life: a high-tech driving range facing a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets of varying distances in the ground. Players hit golf balls into the wild blue yonder with the goal of landing them at the center of these targets, which are marked by flags to resemble golf greens. The balls contain computer microchips that track each shot’s distance and accuracy, and players score points for proximity which are displayed on a high-definition interactive video touchscreen in the comfort of their air-conditioned luxury bay. All the while, food and beverages are served to golfers tableside (or is it teeside?) by peppy, buxom waitresses. And if some in the big bachelor group want to wander, the facility has a full-service restaurant and three bars, pool tables, shuffleboard, Xbox games, cornhole and more.

3. Get Wet! – Dayclubs / Pool Parties

Hyde Beach poolside, Miami
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for Miami dayclub recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $5-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP loungers, daybeds, & cabanas)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 11:30AM-1:30PM (avoid long lines and waits)

Pool parties are a legendary daytime activity that epitomizes the sumptuously debaucherous surfside feel of Miami Beach, and the ones here are arguably second-best only to those of Las Vegas. For a Saturday day party, Hyde Beach and Nikki Beach are the best party scenes especially if money ain’t a thang: between the killer music lineups, badass surroundings, and (did we mention) eye candy, these two venues are head-and-shoulders above the rest if your bachelor is into nothing but the best.

4. I’m On a Boat! (Part I) – Everglades Tour

  • Venue (Location): Captain Jack’s Boat Tours @ Everglades National Park
  • Cost Per Person: $50 (private boat rental $300; holds up to 6 passsengers)
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours (1.5-hour commute plus 1-2 hours on boat + animal sanctuary)
  • Best Time of Day to Go: leaving at sunrise is your only option

Got some nature lovers coming along on the bachelor party? If it’s the first trip to Miami for many of the lads, Everglades National Park should be on your to-do list for a memorable midday option to break from the drinking and partying. The park is known for its expansive emerald-hued beauty as well as its diverse wildlife population that includes everything from bobcats to alligators. A private charter fanboat zooms you across the twists and turns of the creature-filled swamplands while an experienced tour guide narrates the history and topography of South Florida’s most famous natural feature. Many of the tour operators are at least 30 miles west of Miami, so the drive there and back can be boring but also a great chance for a quick nap or a catch-up chat with the fellas you haven’t seen in awhile. The humidity in the swampland is no joke and like a sauna will have you sweating out the night before… or preemptively burning calories for the night to come. However, the picturesque views of the Everglades – plus the chance to get snaps up-close-and-personal with a Florida gator – make the trek totally worth it.

5. I’m on a Boat! (Part II) – Booze Cruise

Yacht party in Miami, Floida

  • Cost Per Person: $100 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00-2:30PM (allows full day party plus enough downtime to recover for evening dinner / entertainment plans)

Open bar on the open seas? We had you at “Hello!” amirite! Say thanks but no thanks to the crowded tourist trap beaches and enjoy an all-inclusive booze cruise boat party around Biscayne Bay with fabulous views of the iconic Miami skyline in the distance. Enjoy a magnificent sightseeing experience full of lazy crystal blue waves on your way to an island or sandbar 30 minutes from the beach… then three hours of high-energy party access on a private island or sandbar. Upon your arrival, the crew turns the music up and unloads water toys – stand-up paddle boards, floaties, water trampolines, and water mats, snorkel gear – for you and the gents to enjoy while sipping cold drinks and mingling on the boat deck or in the water to make new friends. What’s included:

  • DJ playing open format music (R&B, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, House, Top 40)

6. Hot Days, Cold Brews – Brewery Tour

  • Venue (Location): Miami Brew Bus
  • Cost Per Person: $97 (includes transportation and samples at each brewery stop)
  • Time To Set Aside: 6 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 12:00PM (5-hour tours start at this time)

The nationwide craft beer revolution – spurred by a broader movement toward community-based, locally inspired businesses – has in the last few years taken the Magic City by storm. Miami long staked its reputation on its craft cocktail scene, pristine beaches, and nightclubbing / VIP tables / bottle service. Lately though, it’s been building out a new local reputation for bars, taps, and quality craft beer, so if the bachelor is more into suds than spritzers we strongly recommend a ride on the magic Miami Brew Bus. With three unique tours showcasing Miami’s craft beer scene, you’ll have a night of sampling the city’s very best plus a safe ride from one brewery to the next. Weekly tours meet at the Union Beer Store in Little Havana at noon on Saturdays, but the bus is also available for private bookings any day of the week. The ticket price includes behind-the-scenes tours of each brewery and insights into the brewing processes that make each brand unique. South Florida brewers break tradition using local tropical and citrus fruits and exotic Latin-influenced ingredients to create novel flavors for the most adventurous imbibers. Buckle Up and Bottoms Up!

7. Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em – Cigar Tasting

  • Venue (Location): Little Havana Cigar Factory (Little Havana)
  • Cost Per Person: Free to enter; cigars $6 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-6:00PM (good post-lunch or pre-dinner activity, plus downtime to recover for late-night entertainment plans)

Nothing will make the bachelor feel more badass than channeling his inner Tony Montana through a cigar smoking sesh, and Little Havana Cigar Factory is where Miami’s big bosses have their roundtables. Located in the heart of Little Havana – a site long known as a center of social, cultural, and political activity in Miami – the Cigar Factory carries a decades-old tradition of serving only the finest handmade cigars, accessories, books, and art. When you walk in you’re immediately transported back into time via a cozy walnut wood-accented 1950s Cuban club ambiance. Highly skilled Cuban Cigar Rollers show off the various steps of their cherished craft at display tables, while customers stroll through aisles and aisles of colorful, luxurious cigar box displays imported from exotic locales all over the world. You can further experience a delight for the senses by sampling a Cuban espresso and great Latin music along with your premium stogie, all while you and the lads lounge on comfy leather sofas talking sports and politics. There are also many quality Cuban eateries within walking distance on the Calle Ocho strip for you to grab a bite and a mojito before or after your smoke. So, choose from dark or light tobacco and from short or long rolls, grab a cigar cutter and a matchbook, and say hello to your little friend!!! (Or whatever Scarface quote comes to mind.)

8. Get Wet… Again! – Jet Skiing

  • Venue (Location): Jet Ski Tours of Miami (Biscayne Bay)
  • Cost Per Person: $149 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 1.5-2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 3:00PM-6:00PM (allows enough downtime to recover for evening dinner / entertainment plans)

Admit it: every time you’ve seen a jet ski chase scene in an action movie, you hoped to someday reenact it. Now is your chance to do so with the fellas, while at the same time taking in a Miami sightseeing tour from a very unique angle. You’ll mount and ride Yamaha wave runners at top speed as you hop around Biscayne Bay to visit six islands, zoom past the Port of Miami and wave “Bon Voyage” to all the jealous passengers on the decks of the cruise ships, and – if you’re lucky – catch glimpses of dolphins playing or a peaceful manatee backstroking in the water. Tourist hotspots Star Island and Sir Flagler Island are stops along the route, along with hundreds of other Instagram-worthy scenes. Make sure at least one of the lads has a waterproof camera phone, line up some friendly wagers for jet ski races among the crew, and get gassed up for some fun in the South Florida sun.

9. Play Ball! – Pro Baseball Games

  • Venue (Location): Grapefruit League Stadiums (Feb / March); Marlins Park (April thru September)
  • Cost Per Person: $15 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 1 hour before scheduled game time (so you can pregame tailgate plus be in your seat for the National Anthem)

You haven’t lived until you’ve sprawled out under the South Florida sun with a cold brewski in hand at an afternoon or early evening baseball game. For five weeks every spring, various cities in Central and South Florida host Major League Baseball Spring Training, where sun-drenched fans get to watch professional superstar athletes up-close-and-personal as they tune up for the start of their regular season in April. If you can line up your bachelor party during the spring, it’s one of the most happening times of the year in Miami, as fans rent cars to drive out to the various stadiums during the day but stay in Greater Miami to enjoy the beaches and nightlife. You get to rub the beautiful weather and one of the best day-drinking scenes in America in the world’s chapped winter faces, with bonus points if you snap photos and post them to social media so your friends freezing at home under 2 feet of snow can hate you cuz they ain’t you. If you can’t come in February or March, you’ll miss Spring Training but you can still catch MLB action at Marlins Park, the beautiful and modern home stadium of the Miami Marlins. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a bachelor party tourist, a die-hard baseball aficionado or someone who doesn’t know an RBI from an ERA, baseball is a deep source of pride for Miami and a quintessential part of the true local experience.

10. Murals & Mojitos – Wynwood Art Tour / Bar Crawl

  • Venue: Wynwood Bar Crawl (Wynwood)
  • Cost Per Person: $60
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 5:30PM (start time for early tour; ensure you return early enough to rest, shower, and grab a bite before going out)

So you’ve done a few of the first nine items on this list, and now your bachelor party might be in need of a brief window of a low-key and somewhat high-brow activity – less thrill and more chill. Fear not, there are a handful of fun daytime activities that don’t require participants to sign an injury waiver. One of these is the art-infused Wynwood Bar Crawl, which takes guests on a walking tour of 4-5 local bars in between marveling at the neighborhood’s world-famous multi-story wall murals. Although specific murals are constantly changing, the area is filled with permanent must-see fixtures from international street art superstars like David Walker and Interesni Kazki. An experienced tour guide will give you the 101 on the marvelous works of art and the artists, their stories, and their cutting-edge techniques, as well as the story of how Wynwood itself as transformed into one of the hippest art and entertainment districts in the world. And after all the artsy download, you’ve got plenty of friendly watering holes in the neighborhood to try out your newfound knowledge as part of your drink-and-chat game. As a courtesy, here are some of the more popular bars and breweries to check out when the Artwalk bar crawl ends:

  • Centro Wynwood (turns into a happening club starting around sunset)
  • The Dirty Rabbit
  • Wood Tavern
  • Gramps
  • R House Wynwood
  • Barter Wynwood
  • Concrete Beach Brewery
  • Veza Sur Brewery
  • J. Wakefield Brewery
  • Wynwood Brewing Co.

Miami is one of the better cities in America for gentlemen’s clubs, not only for variety of young “talent” but for low costs of drinks and dances. When it comes to quality of women, G5ive, Tootsie’s, and Gold Rush Cabaret are the top choices as much in the daytime as they are at night; both are pretty far from the South Beach nightclub party scene distancewise, but well worth the effort and the pricy cab ride. For an “Only In Miami” experience though, we highly recommend you direct the troops to E11even. Operating as a 24-hour nightclub / strip club / after-hours experience, E11even features stunning entertainers and theatrical performances in an alluring environment that is as sexy as it is sophisticated. Multiple stages, exotic acts, dazzling light shows, and acrobatic theatrics take hold of the space every weekend; its got something for everyone and is the tried-and-true way to put the cherry on top of your epic Miami bachelor party (and might be the last time the bachelor can get away with going to an establishment of this nature).

In conclusion: Miami is definitely a bachelor party destination where a lot of good times can be had by a group of lads along all points of the budget spectrum. It is a magical beachfront oasis where both indoor and outdoor activities can spice up any bachelor party agenda… if you know the lay of the land. Your friends and nightlife guides here at Discotech are an essential part of that equation – we help you browse and book free guest lists and cheap presale tickets or VIP bottle service for the hottest nightclubs and pool parties in Miami. What are you waiting for? A Busy Pool Party at Drais Beach Club at the Cromwell Las Vegas

View of the Massive Pool Party Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan

Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay(Hip Hop):

Busy Pool Party with DJ at Daylight Beach Club Las Vegas

Bare Pool at The Mirage (Hip Hop/ Top 40)

View of the Pool at Bare Pool Inside Mirage Las Vegas

XS Nightswim at Wynn (EDM):

Top 10 Best Bachelorette (Hen) Party Activities In Los Angeles

Headed to Los Angeles for a hen (bachelorette) party soon? In addition to dinners and nightlife, you’ll need to plan other daytime and early-evening group activities for the bachelorette and her group that are fun and memorable, while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

Why is planning a bachelorette party so hard?

Your bachelorette has just chosen the City of Angels as the destination city and assembled her final list; now, you as the Maid of Honor are on the hook to make magic happen. So you let out a big sigh, open up your laptop and hop on the internets, and get to work on mapping out this epic weekend in Los Angeles. As you start your search on activities, you know you’re not totally a lost kitten – you’ve partied in L.A. a few times in the past with and without the bride-to-be, and you’ve got numerous friends in high and low places who are willing to offer sound and not-so-sound recommendations – but of course you wouldn’t mind having a professional to guide you.   You know, someone totally plugged who can take all those half-formed suggestions floating around and give you accurate, actionable answers?

Look, we know you’re here for a good time, not a long time… so you’ll need some expert guidance to help narrow down your choices to round out your ideal hen-do agenda. Here, in order of our highly experienced customer service staff’s preferences, is our Discotech Top 10 list of best and most entertaining bachelorette party activities that your classy group of ladies would do well to line up during your few days in the City of Angels:

1) Dance Your Face (and Heels) Off – Nightclubs

https://youtu.be/ptK2ZRB6A-0

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry ladies: you know you LOVE to dance, so this activity must make the Top 10 of any bachelorette party list in any city. Whether your Saturday or Sunday mornings/afternoons figure to be calm ones or crazy ones, it MUST necessarily be followed by (or preceded by) an epic high-energy night filled with music and mirth. Greater Los Angeles – and Hollywood in particular – is a legendary party epicenter that epitomizes international debauchery; with the lone exception of Las Vegas and maybe NYC, you just can’t really get such high-quality versions of this revelry anywhere else in America. There are hundreds of clubbing options in the city to match your budget, vibe, and music type whether you’re into electronic, hip-hop, Top 40, or Latin / international beats. To party like a local, we recommend you schedule your dinner in the 7-9pm range and then head to the club straight afterward without having to stop at your hotel to change – your night will feel smoother and less rushed, and your clubbing time and budget as well as the bachelorette’s buzz will stretch out further.

2) Life’s a Beach – L.A. Beaches

Let’s face it: the bachelorette chose L.A. because she wanted the beaches with her betches. The best thing about the beaches in Southern California is that 99% of them are open to the public and they’re free to access. Whether your hen party is searching for an isolated destination or wants to spend a day at a busy “see and be seen” strip of sand and surf, L.A. caters to all tastes and offers a variety of beaches to choose from. Some beaches in L.A are dotted with palm trees to provide a shady respite from the heat, while others are perfect for quickly getting that pre-wedding golden suntan that will make those wedding pics pop off. Some have serene and glassy waters that call for a good book; others boast rolling, crashing waves that scream out for watersports and hair-toss action photos. The one thing that all L.A. beaches have in common is their stunning and well-groomed natural beauty, and many area beaches likewise offer plenty of water activities and proximity to restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues to appease visiting tourists. Here our our Top beaches around Los Angeles:

  1. Santa Monica Beach – Trendy, close to restaurants & nightlife, older / international tourist crowds
  2. Venice Beach – Boardwalk with attractions, close to restaurants & bars, younger local / “party” tourist crowds
  3. Malibu Beach – Surfing (intermediate), birdwatching, upscale restaurants
  4. Manhattan Beach – Beach volleyball, kid-friendly, local families beach
  5. Zuma Beach – Surfing (beginner), kid-friendly, dolphin & sea lion watching
  6. Redondo Beach – Surfing (advanced), kayaking / paddleboarding, bike-riding
  7. El Matador Beach – Scenery (featured in many movies), sea caves, whale watching
  8. El Pescador Beach – Tide pools, fishing, quiet atmosphere
  9. Will Rogers State Beach – Kitesurfing, diving, sunbathing
  10. Leo Carrillo State Beach – Swimming, windsurfing, bicycling, scenery (featured in many movies)

  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-1:00PM (right when you wake up, to combat hangovers)

Every bachelorette party will need some downtime to rest and recover from the festivities of the night before… or the night to come. Spas, massages, and salons are the go-to group daytime activity if your the bachelorette is craving a relaxing atmosphere and a serene respite from all the chaos of the past months’ wedding planning. Los Angeles is big on beauty, health, and wellness; in addition to numerous boutique businesses, most of four-star and five-star hotel properties throughout the city have swanky wellness spaces, high-end hair and nail salons, and/or buzzy detox treatments. The same goes for spas; they’re sprinkled throughout every corner of the city and offer luxurious relaxation / rejuvenation packages for you and the ladies to wind down, so it’s merely a matter of finding the one that fits your style and price point.

For example: Larchmont Sanctuary Spa offers unique treatments influenced by ancient Eastern philosophies; Amy Rae Aesthetics specializes in natural / organic holistic treatments; Glen Ivy Spa is known for its hydrothermal therapy offerings. So throw on your comfiest robe, grab a glass of champagne, clear your mind of clutter, assume your favorite position of relaxation, and let your chosen spa take care of the rest. 4) Put It in the Bag – Shopping

  • Venue (Location): Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills)
  • Cost Per Person: Free to stroll (Shopping… that’s another story)
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-6:00PM (good post-lunch or pre-dinner activity, plus downtime to recover for late-night entertainment plans)

Los Angeles has plenty of activities for you to do “’til you drop” and of course shopping is one of them. The City of Angels has long been a fashion mecca due to the trendsetting entertainment industries that call it home, and thus a destination for fashion seekers. Superior fashion retail zones and establishments are located all over the city, from Santee Alley Fashion District in Downtown L.A. to Third Street Promenade just blocks from the Pacific Ocean. The unquestionable crown jewel of shopping in L.A. though is Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, one of the world’s most famous and most exclusive luxury destinations and an unparalleled hub at the intersection of luxury, fashion, entertainment, and pop culture.

With more than 100 world-renowned stores and hotels comprising the three magnificent blocks within Rodeo Drive’s Golden Triangle, it’s easy to lose yourself in the street’s splendor and charm, and even easier to see why it’s one of the tastemaking fashion hubs in all of America. Here, shoppers can expect to find big-brand fashion retail giants – Versace, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Tiffany & Co.  – alongside ultra-chic local boutiques, each carrying their latest warm-weather fashions to appeal to the eyes and wallets of wealthy Angelenos and well-heeled tourists. Pro tip: after re-enacting the Julia Roberts scene from Pretty Woman and maxing out your (or the groom’s) credit card on Rodeo, hop in an Uber and skip on over to the stretch of quirkier independent niche fashion houses on Melrose Drive, where you might just find that perfect piece of jewelry or accessory to complement your matching bridesmaids dresses.

5) Grab Life By the Pole – Pole Dancing Classes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MPJAM77bRM&feature=youtu.be

  • Cost Per Person: $20 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 2 hours

Taught by professional dancers and gymnasts – and a few moonlighting exotic dancers – and featured on US Weekly and in several reality TV shows including Love & Hip Hop. Evolve is conveniently located in the middle of metro L.A. and covers all the basic aspects, movements, and techniques for executing lap dances and stripper pole sequences. If you’re feeling more daring, several advanced classes combine the art of pole fitness with Cirque du Soleil-style aerial workouts using suspended hoops. The 60-minute and 90-minute classes are chock-full of expert tips on how to soar, tease, and titillate like Hollywood’s most seasoned ladies of the night, and the unforgettable experience culminates with a high-energy choreographed routine for the bride-to-be to show off to her fiancee… and for you to show off to friends and strangers at future house parties.

Malibu Wine Safaris - Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue: Malibu Wine Safaris (Malibu)
  • Cost Per Person: $65 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:30AM (start time for early tour; avoid the hotter afternoon temperatures)

What could possibly be more fun than the Catalina Wine Mixer, you ask? Umm, how about a Malibu Wine Safari? If the bride tribe has a few adventurous animal lovers, Malibu Wine Safaris combines the kiddie experience of a zoo with the adult experience of wine-tasting within a rollicking, unforgettable nature tour. In a custom-built open-air safari vehicle, you’ll make a fun jaunt through the lush 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch and vineyard in Malibu, just 30 minutes from Hollywood / Downtown LA.

You’ll make planned stops along the way to take in the scenery, sample vino varietals, and get up-close-and-personal with new friends: zebras, water buffalo, alpacas, bison, and the the star of the show, Stanley the Giraffe (win their affection – and the perfect photo – by feeding them carrots, pellets, and bananas). The wines – Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, and seasonal blends – are sourced from local vineyards in the Santa Monica Mountains; they’re passable, and what they lack for in high quality relative to other California wines they make up for in abundance. And after the magical tour, you can stop by the on-site tasting room and picnic area for a late-afternoon nosh or even a spirit much stiffer than wine from the fully stocked bar should you feel the calling to unleash the wild party animal within.

7) Be a Reality TV Star – Upscale Brunches

  • Venue (Location): Varies by price, location, and cuisine
  • Cost Per Person: $20 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 11:30AM-2:30PM (you know…. the brunching hour)

If you and your gals bond weekly over good ‘ol trashy reality TV, then you know that many of the most emotionally charged scenes seem to happen when your favorite characters are dressed to the nines while quaffing champagne and cocktails over brunch in one of the city’s hottest restaurants. If you are looking for the perfect spot to brunch in L.A., we recommend you head on over to West Hollywood. West Hollywood is the reality TV epicenter of the world – scenes from many shows are filmed around here – and has the best high-end brunch culture, from the trendy restaurants to the exotic booze blends to the trendy wall art and movie-set ambiances.

You’ve got plenty of great fabulous brunch choices in WeHo, but if you call yourself a true reality TV die-hard then you’ll need to lock down a coveted reservation at either Pump or SUR, the brainchildren of British TV personality Lisa Vanderpump (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), one of reality TV’s biggest superstars. Pump and Sur are two spots that boast sprawling indoor / outdoor patio layouts, with stylish booths and full bars adorned with garden decor, lantern-adorned trellises, romantic lighting, and walls and furniture showcasing Vanderpump family pictures. They are classy yet inviting Hollywood “it” spots that turn into booze-soaked ultra lounges and “see and be seen” scenes as afternoon turns into evening – drinking / dining / mingling destinations whether you’re fans of the Real Housewives franchise or not, and the perfect spot for the bachelorette brigade to reenact your favorite dramatic scenes, real or staged, from your favorite reality TV characters.

8) Float & Flex – Yoga + Paddleboard Class

  • Venue (Location): YOGAqua (Marina Del Rey)
  • Cost Per Person: $44
  • Time Length of Activity: 2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-11:30AM (burn some calories before a hearty brunch)

Perhaps the only thing more “L.A.” than stand-up paddleboarding… is yoga. For the bride-to-be that aims to do it all, a group date in Marina Del Rey can kill two glorious birds with one stone. Sarah Tiefenthaler’s YOGAqua, operating since 2011, offers combo paddleboarding / yoga classes for rowing yogis of all levels. Students are taken through a Vinyasa Yoga flow with instructions customized and detailed for the paddleboard, so even if they have not been practicing yoga for years – or if they have never been on a paddleboard – they will be able to balance and follow along with no problem.

A YOGAqua class is 90 minutes long; the first 30 minutes dedicated to learning how to properly use the board and peacefully paddle around the harbor, and the remaining hour is dedicated to mind-calming yoga movements while atop the paddleboard. Each board has an individual anchor that is dropped down before the Yoga portion of class begins, so that students don’t drift away of fall off while focusing on their form. Serenity and balance atop the calm deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean? Yes, please.

10) Heavenly Angels – Hollywood Hills Hike

  • Venue (Location): Runyon Canyon (Hollywood Hills)
  • Cost Per Person: Free
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM-1:00PM (more crowded / active scene, plus avoid the brutal afternoon heat)

Runyon Canyon has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for those hunky, impossibly chiseled aspiring actors and models who while waiting for callbacks tend bars, wait tables, pour lattes, valet cars, or otherwise drive the L.A. nightlife and entertainment economy forward on the basis of their boyish good looks.

Bonus Activity: Men at Work – Male Revue Show

  • Venue (Location): Hollywood Men (Hollywood)
  • Cost Per Person: $20 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 7:00PM-10:00PM (show start times for most revues are in evenings)

In the town where one’s wildest dreams can come true overnight, it’s no cause for shame at all if the bachelorette party wants to include a more magical fantasy ride on the naughty side. Male revue shows are the quintessential way to get the pulses racing, and Walk of Fame is home to Hollywood Men, one of the best male revue shows in the world. Yes you’ll get your fill of good-looking Adonises of all races with chiseled physiques and washboard abs, but along with that you’ll also get expertly choreographed high-energy dance routines that ooze charisma, athleticism, swagger, and sex appeal. For many of the shows, you’ll also be offered the opportunity to snap photos with the hunks of your choice as well as treat the bride-to-be to an up-close-and-personal lap dance. And along with such multi-sensory delights, a bit of light internet research beforehand can yield plenty of “bang for your buck” in the form of discounts and bundling packages that include limo rides, fancy dinners, and cocktails as value-added side dishes to your lip-smacking main course.

In conclusion: Los Angeles is definitely a bachelorette party destination where a lot of good times can be had by a group of ladies along all points of the budget spectrum. With its numerous cultural landmarks and small businesses, Little Havana is well-known for its plethora of historic, political, and artistic contributions to broader American culture. A 3-hour tour of this famed Miami neighborhood is the most ideal excursion, and expert tour guides will delve deep into the history and traditions of Caribbean-influenced local customs… which of course includes introducing you to some of the most delectable food and snacks in the world along your journey. The tour begins with a short history lesson at the Bay of Pigs monument and quickly proceeds to the famed Calle Ocho, with visits to one of the oldest farmers’ markets on the continent to learn about hard-to-find Caribbean tropical fruits and a cigar factory to watch taqueros hand roll tobacco leaves into the finest cigars. After the sightseeing and history lessons, the culinary onslaught soon begins:

  • A coffee shop visit for a cortada, or a small cup of high-octane Cuban coffee
  • Fresh-squeezed tropical juices made to order by local street vendors
  • Fresh baked pastries, and/or a Cuban sandwich or empanada
  • Small plates of ropa vieja, mofongo, pescado escabeche, or other main dish staples from around the Caribbean

  • Desserts (Cuban ice cream, flan, dark chocolate)

Added bonus: as you dine and drink and savor the flavors, your tour guide will share the origins, ingredients, and customs surrounding each of the culinary stops. And she’ll even tell you where in the neighborhood to go for salsa / merengue lessons and attractive Don Juan charmers, should the charms of Calle Ocho seduce you and the girls into extending your visit deeper into the hot Latin night.

Located on Lincoln Road between restaurant-laden Alton Road and nightclub-laden Washington Avenue, Lincoln Road Mall is a high-end pedestrian walk and outdoor shopping center. Originally designed with Art Deco flair in the 1950s, the Lincoln Road shopping metropolis received a major modernization overhaul in 1997 that produced a resurgence in its popularity; in 2011, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, enshrining its status as a cultural hub in Miami. Shoppers can expect to find big-brand fashion retail giants – Banana Republic, Gap, Macy’s, Lululemon Athletica, Sephora – alongside chic local boutiques, each carrying their latest warm-weather fashions to appeal to the eyes and wallets of wealthy Miamians and well-heeled tourists. Interspersed among the shops are a bevvy of restaurant options from fast food to fine dining (most of them a tad overpriced, unfortunately); the Lincoln Road also hosts morning yoga classes throughout the year, outdoor concerts when whether permits, and farmers & artisan crafts market on Sundays where you might just find that perfect piece of jewelry or accessory to complement your matching bridesmaids dresses.

Top 10 Best Bachelorette (Hen) Party Activities In Phoenix / Scottsdale

Headed to Phoenix / Scottsdale for a “hen do” – aka bachelorette party – soon? In addition to dayclubs and nightclubs, you’ll need to plan other afternoon and early-evening group activities for the bachelorette and her group that are fun and memorable, while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

The fabulous weather – and in the few months when it’s not fabulous, they’ve got air-conditioners and heaters! – combined with the relatively low cost of living has drawn 7.3 million residents to Arizona, 4.8 million of which live in the metro area of Phoenix which is the state’s capitol and largest city. A modern and bustling mid-size American metropolis, Phoenix – along with Scottsdale, its ritzy neighborhood that rivals LA’s Beverly Hills and Miami’s Brickell – draws year-round tourist traffic due to its plethora of culinary delights and entertainment options of the indoor and outdoor variety. Along with drawing the snowbirds flying south for the winter, the warm weather long ago cemented Phoenix / Scottsdale as a perennial destination for college and university Spring Break trips; more recently it has evolved into a popular destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties, many of whom are returning to the desert after initially experiencing its charms and wild party scenes as college students.

Apart from any wild partying that you and the lasses plan to be doing out in this desert oasis, you’ll absolutely need to do some group activity planning to appease the ones who aren’t really into DJs and dance floors. Some of those options are cliche, but who cares: Scottsdale still a unique Bachelorette Party destination, and cliche bachelorette activities earned their rep for a legit reason, didn’t they???  Look, we know you’re here for a good time, not a long time… so you’ll need some expert guidance to help narrow down your choices to round out your ideal hen-do agenda.

Here, in order of our highly experienced customer service staff’s preferences, is our Discotech Top 10 list of best and most entertaining bachelorette party activities that your classy group of ladies would do well to line up during your wild weekend in Phoenix / Scottsdale:

1) Take Your Horse to the Old Town Road – Nightclubs

  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for recommendations)

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry ladies: the activity of nightclubbing HAS to be #1 and #1A on any Phoenix / Scottsdale bachelor party list. Why, you say? The Old Town entertainment district in Scottsdale is a legendary American party epicenter that epitomizes Wild West debauchery; with the exceptions of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami you just can’t really get such high-quality versions of this revelry anywhere else in America. And on top of that, Phoenix / Scottsdale nightlife has got three YUUUUGE advantages over those other cities:

  1. Nearly all the best clubs in the Phoenix / Scottsdale are in walking distance from each other, so bar or club crawling – either planned or impromptu – is easy to pull off.
  2. Clubbing here is 5x-10x cheaper due to no covers, lower drink prices, and VIP lower table prices.
  3. Places open earlier – some open during the day and stay open until 2am – and get packed earlier, so your dollars and the bachelorette’s fun will both stretch longer into the night.

We know you’re all about the picturesque views though, and Camelback is the perfect half-day trip for nature/photography lovers and Instagram influencers alike. If you’re lucky, you might even see some wild rabbits and other critters while you’re out on those trails getting your exercise on and sweating out the night before… or preemptively burning calories for the night to come. Oh, you meant a different kind of beautiful views? Camelback has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for the many professional athletes who train in the Phoenix area, as well as those fit minor-league baseball players and ASU and U of Arizona guys who tend bars, serve cocktails, or otherwise drive the local nightlife economy on the basis of their boyish good looks.
