Top 10 Best Bachelor Party Activities In Phoenix / Scottsdale [Updated 2023]

Headed to Phoenix / Scottsdale for a bachelor party soon? On top of dinners and nightclubs, you’ll need to plan afternoon and early-evening group activities for the bachelor and his group that are fun and memorable, while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

The Arizona that most out-of-town visitors know is the one of extreme summer temperature, expansive scrublands, colorful rock formations, and an abundance of outdoor activities. It’s also known as a warm-weather haven for snowbirds, i.e. seasonal residents and visitors who during the winter escape the colder climates of their hometowns for the Desert Southwest’s supremely pleasant October-to-March calendar stretch. In fact, many Arizonians themselves are transplants to the state who once upon a time visited from parts of the U.S. further north – or their parents / grandparents / great-grandparents did – and decided they loved it here so much that they didn’t want to leave.

The fabulous weather – and in the few months when it’s not fabulous, they’ve got air-conditioners and heaters! – combined with the relatively low cost of living has drawn 7.3 million residents to Arizona, 4.8 million of which live in the metro area of Phoenix which is the state’s capitol and largest city. A modern and bustling mid-size American metropolis, Phoenix – along with Scottsdale, its ritzy neighborhood that rivals LA’s Beverly Hills and Miami’s Brickell – draws year-round tourist traffic due to its plethora of culinary delights and entertainment options of the indoor and outdoor variety. Along with drawing the snowbirds flying south for the winter, the warm weather long ago cemented Phoenix / Scottsdale as a perennial destination for college and university Spring Break trips; more recently it has evolved into a popular destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties, many of whom are returning to the desert after initially experiencing its charms and wild party scenes as college students.

Here, in order of our highly experienced customer service staff’s preferences, is our Discotech Top 10 list of best and most entertaining bachelor party activities that your classy group of gents would do well to line up during your wild weekend in Phoenix / Scottsdale.

1) Take Your Horse to the Old Town Road – Nightclubs

https://youtu.be/Xs8EQbbDVAU
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $10-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP tables)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:30PM-11:00PM (avoid long lines and waits)

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry gents: the activity of nightclubbing HAS to be #1 and #1A on any Phoenix / Scottsdale bachelor party list. Why, you say? The Old Town entertainment district in Scottsdale is a legendary American party epicenter that epitomizes Wild West debauchery; with the exceptions of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami you just can’t really get such high-quality versions of this revelry anywhere else in America. And on top of that, Phoenix / Scottsdale nightlife has got three YUUUUGE advantages over those other cities:

  1. Nearly all the best clubs in the Phoenix / Scottsdale are in walking distance from each other, so bar or club crawling – either planned or impromptu – is easy to pull off.
  2. Clubbing here is 5x-10x cheaper due to no covers, lower drink prices, and VIP lower table prices.
  3. Places open earlier – some open during the day and stay open until 2am – and get packed earlier, so your dollars and the bachelor’s fun will both stretch longer into the night.

2) Play Ball! – Professional Baseball Games

girls at MLB Spring Training, Scottsdale, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Cactus League Stadiums (Feb / March / October); Chase Field (April thru September)
  • Cost Per Person: $15 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 1 hour before scheduled game time (so you can pregame tailgate plus be in your seat for the National Anthem)

You haven’t lived until you’ve sprawled out under the Arizona sun with a cold brewski in hand at an afternoon or early evening baseball game. For five weeks every spring, Phoenix / Scottsdale hosts Major League Baseball Spring Training, where sun-drenched fans get to watch professional superstar athletes up-close-and-personal as they tune up for the start of their regular season in April. If you can line up your bachelor party during this time, it’s the most happening time of the year in Arizona. You get to rub the beautiful weather and one of the best day-drinking scenes in America in the world’s chapped winter faces, with bonus points if you snap photos and post them to social media so your friends freezing at home under 2 feet of snow can hate you cuz they ain’t you. If you can’t come in February or March, you’ll miss Spring Training but you can still catch MLB action at Chase Field, the downtown Phoenix home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a bachelor party tourist, a die-hard baseball aficionado or someone who doesn’t know an RBI from an ERA, baseball is a deep source of pride for Arizona and a quintessential part of the true local experience.

3) Get Wet! – Pool Parties

pool party at Maya Dayclub in Scottsdale, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $5-100 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $200 and up (VIP loungers, daybeds, & cabanas)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 11:30AM-1:30PM (avoid long lines and waits)

Pool parties are a legendary daytime activity that epitomizes the sumptuously debaucherous desert oasis feel of Scottsdale, and the ones here are arguably second-best only to those of Las Vegas. At least one of these day parties on your bachelor weekend agenda is a must; even for guys who don’t like nightclubs, the eye candy, sunshine, cool plunges to beat the heat (and did we mention eye candy?) make it worth it. For any bachelor party larger than four 4-5 gents, it’s a no-brainer to book a cabana or daybed with bottle service in order to maximize the fun; for a smaller stag-do or one that wants variety, we suggest purchasing presale tickets. Find one of the hottest events going on that weekend using our Discotech app, and go see one of your favorite DJs or performing artists. For a Saturday day party, Maya Dayclub and Wet Deck are the best party scenes especially if money ain’t a thang: between the killer music lineups, badass surroundings, and (did we mention) eye candy, these two venues are head-and-shoulders above the rest if your bachelor is into nothing but the best.

4) Get to the CHOPPAAHH!!! – Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

Helicopter tour of Grand Canyon
  • Venue (Location): Southwest Tours
  • Cost Per Person: $165
  • Time To Set Aside: 13 hours (leaves in morning, returns at ~8:00PM)
  • Best Time of Day to Go: leaving at sunrise is your only option

OK, so you and the bachelor know every word from every Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie and apply quotes from them to everything from coffee runs to yard work. Now is your chance to overuse your favorite quote, grab your aviator shades, and take to the blue skies for the Grandest (pun intended) aerial adventure possible. Your birds-eye tour of the Grand Canyon departs from the Deer Valley airport in Northern Phoenix then passes over the Red Rock formations of Sedona, the Painted Desert, and the Navajo Indian Reservation before touching down at the south rim of the Grand Canyon 7,000 ft above sea level. A professional tour guide then takes you to the best scenic overlooks inside the Grand Canyon National Park while educating you on facts about the geology, flora, fauna, and history of one of the largest, most well-known, and most colorful landmark treasures in all of America. (We mean the Canyon, not The Terminator / Kindergarten Cop.)

5) Drive for Show, Putt for Dough – Golf / TopGolf

Topgolf at sunset, Phoenix, AZ
  • Venue (Location): TopGolf (Phoenix – Talking Stick Resort)
  • Cost Per Person: $30.00 and up per hour (bay rental; does not include club rental or buckets of balls)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 5:00PM-9:00PM (twilight skies offer majestic backdrop for watching balls take flight)

The aforementioned incredible weather throughout most of the year makes Phoenix / Scottsdale a prime destination for grabbing the sticks and hitting the links. If the bachelor in your group fancies himself more “Tiger Woods” than “Tiger King” then there are plenty of wonderful golf courses around town with different levels of challenge and volume/formality to whet his appetite for gripping and ripping. Whether or not your crew hits the actual links in the daytime, you’ll want to find your way to TopGolf in the late afternoon. Now operating in 50 US cities, TopGolf is interactive video game golf come to life: a high-tech driving range facing a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets of varying distances in the ground. Players hit golf balls into the wild blue yonder with the goal of landing them at the center of these targets, which are marked by flags to resemble golf greens. The balls contain computer microchips that track each shot’s distance and accuracy, and players score points for proximity which are displayed on a high-definition interactive video touchscreen in the comfort of their air-conditioned luxury bay. All the while, food and beverages are served to golfers tableside (or is it teeside?) by peppy, buxom waitresses. And if some in the big bachelor group want to wander, the facility has a full-service restaurant and three bars, pool tables, shuffleboard, Xbox games, cornhole and more.

6) Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down – Bowling

Skylanes bowling - Scottsdale, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Skylanes (Old Town Scottsdale)
  • Cost Per Person: $10 ($60.00 per lane per hour, up to 6 guests per lane; shoe rental included)
  • Time To Set Aside: 1-2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 4:00PM-9:00PM (Happy Hour from 5-6pm, plus young / hip / lively crowd starts here before heading to the Old Town nightclubs)

Located in walking distance from the Old Town Scottsdale club circuit, Skylanes is an ultra-hip upscale bowling alley with a kitchen serving bar food classics. Skylanes successfully transplanted the nostalgic 50s/60s retro swagger into a modern venue – with swanky chesterfield sofas, boutique decor, accommodating wait staff, full-bodied craft beers and cocktails. That being said, Skylanes is anything but your grandfather’s bowling alley: the scene caters to Scottsdale’s younger 21-and-over crowd, pampering each guest with personalized lane service in an exquisite and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for pregaming before hitting the dance clubs. It also offers guests unique VIP lounges and bottle service, giving the venue the feel of a swanky singles lounge and putting a unique spin (pun intended) on bowling as you’ve come to know it.

7) Get Lost, Take A Hike – Outdoor Hiking

Camelback Mountain, Phoenix, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Camelback Mountain (Phoenix)
  • Cost Per Person: Free to enter (free / paid parking near trail entrances)
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 4:00PM-8:00PM (avoid brutal midday heat, plus sunset skies are more colorful)

Got some gym rats and health nuts in the bachelor party demanding to break a healthy sweat at some point in the weekend? Located just twenty minutes from Downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain – yes, it is indeed shaped like two humps or two lovely lady lumps, whichever you prefer – is worth the short commute and offers a variety of challenging hiking trails, and world-class climbing. We know you’re all about the picturesque views though, and Camelback is the perfect half-day trip for nature/photography lovers and Instagram influencers alike. If you’re lucky, you might even see some wild rabbits and other critters while you’re out on those trails getting your exercise on and sweating out the night before… or preemptively burning calories for the night to come. Oh, you meant a different kind of beautiful views? Camelback has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for the impossibly fit ASU and U of Arizona co-eds and local women who tend bars, serve cocktails, or otherwise drive the Phoenix nightlife economy on the basis of their stunning good looks.

8) Hold ‘Em or Fold ‘Em – Poker Lessons

Talking Stick Casino Poker Room, Phoenix, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Poker Room @ Talking Stick Resort & Casino
  • Cost Per Person: ~$10/hour to tip dealer, plus $100-200 poker chips buy-in
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-6:00PM (less crowded plus good post-lunch activity)

For a bachelor party group that enjoys partaking in games of chance – or just doesn’t want to venture outdoors into the searing midday desert heat – a group game of poker could be what the doctor ordered. It’s common Arizonian locals knowledge that Talking Stick Casino is one of the best Native American casinos in America and has arguably the best poker room in the state. At over 5,000 square feet and featuring 47 high-quality tables and 16 pristine flat-screen TVs for live sports viewing, the Talking Stick poker room has ample space to cordon off a private table plus card dealer for the bachelor and his rounders. Drinks and food may be ordered while playing cards, and for a modest gratuity you can enlist a staff member – or one of the poker pros that hang out here – to teach the novices in your group the basics of classic game like Texas Hold ‘Em or an exotic format like Pot-Limit Omaha. Added bonus: when the cards run dry for any of the fish in your group, you’re just a few steps away from a much needed release from the cards: a cool dip in Talking Stick’s upscale and upbeat Release Pool.

9) Ride ‘Em Cowboy – Rodeo / Bull Riding

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a60YKMSbANQ
  • Venue (Location): Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse (Cave Creek, AZ – 45-minutes north of Scottsdale)
  • Cost Per Person: Free to enter (Dinner / drinks optional)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 6:00PM-10:00PM on Fridays (dinner plus live bull-riding shows)

Is your bachelor a good ol’ country boy? Deep in the heart of Tex… – ahem, Arizona – is a rodeo-themed gem of a drinking post that draws country lovers from all over the Four Corners region. A renowned steakhouse and a cowpoke watering hole voted “Best Country Bar in Phoenix” by the Phoenix New Times in 2019, Buffalo Chip is a sprawling open-air backyard barbecue scene featuring a DJ booth blasting country favorites and big screen TVs lining multiple bars. However, its crown jewel – or is it its shiny, oversized belt buckle? – is its live bullriding pen, which on Fridays showcases rodeo activities and bull rides by local cowboys and ranch hands… and even ballsy tourists looking for the ultimate 8-second (or less) thrill. Get on up, squeeze tight, pull the bull rope, and lean back for the greatest ride of your life… getting bucked will never feel so good, especially if you’ve already had a few shots at the bar to work up that liquid cowboy courage. Giddy up!

10) Kick Up Desert Dust – Dune Buggies

https://youtu.be/DhfOX5JmcsY
  • Venue: Arizona Outdoor Fun (greater Phoenix)
  • Cost Per Person: $75
  • Time To Set Aside: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-12:00PM (to ensure you return early enough to rest, shower, and grab a bite before going out)

If the bachelor party is looking for less chill and more thrill, then there are a handful of daytime activities that require participants to sign a Death or Dismemberment waiver. Dune buggies and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are one of these unforgettable heart-pounding experiences: you careen through the Sonoran Desert in one-person or two-person dune buggies, holding onto your camera phone with one hand and holding on for dear life with the other. You can do a leisurely tour through the desert, or true adrenaline junkies can opt for a bumpier, twistier, more adrenaline-filled course – including a gun-firing session at. a desert shooting range – to get your blood flowing, and sweating out the toxins from last night. Because the answer to “But did you die?” in reference to any bachelor party trip should always be “Almost!”

Bonus Activity: Strip Clubs

Skin Cabaret, Scottsdale, AZ
  • Venue (Location): Varies
  • Cost Per Person: $20 cover charge (lap dance / champagne room prices vary)
  • Time To Set Aside: Umm… zero hours. None of you were ever here, right?
  • Best Time of Day to Go: Anytime

For 99% of bachelor parties, a late-night strip club trip is a standard item on the agenda. Scottsdale is one of the better cities in America for gentlemen’s clubs, not only for variety of young “talent” but for low costs of drinks and dances. When it comes to quality of women, Skin Cabaret is the #1 choice as much in daytime as it is at night; it’s also close to Old Town Scottsdale so the best choice after you’ve struck out at the nightclubs. If you are willing to hoof it further, route the herd to Bourbon Street near Phoenix Airport for a classier, roomier, more upscale experience that’s the tried-and-true way to put the cherry on top of your epic Scottsdale bachelor party (and might be the last time the bachelor can get away with going to an establishment of this nature).

For a Saturday day party, Encore Beach Club and Wet Republic are the best party scenes if money ain’t a thang: between the killer music lineups, high-end ambiance, and (did we mention) eye candy, these two venues are head-and-shoulders above the rest if your bride-to-be is into nothing but the best.

2) Men at Work – Male Revue Shows

  • Cost Per Person: $20 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 7:00PM-10:00PM (show start times for most revues are in evenings)

They call it “Sin City” for a reason, so it’s no cause for shame at all if the bachelorette party wants to include a wild ride on the naughty side. Male revue shows are the quintessential way to get the pulses racing, and Las Vegas is home to the best and most unforgettable male revue shows in the world. Yes you’ll get your fill of good-looking Adonises of all races with chiseled physiques and washboard abs, but along with that you’ll also get expertly choreographed high-energy dance routines that ooze charisma, athleticism, swagger, and sex appeal.

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry ladies: you know you LOVE to dance, so this activity must make the Top 10 of any Vegas bachelorette party list. Whether your Saturday morning/afternoon figures to be a calm or a crazy one, it MUST necessarily be followed by (or preceded by) an epic high-energy night filled with music and mirth. A word of caution though: when it comes to nightlife in Vegas, the “good guys / gals” don’t always win: villains and shady characters run amok in the streets of Sin City, and they’ve long made large fortunes and long-term careers taking advantage of visitors through cryptic double-speak and sleight of hand, and false expectations. Have no fear, the Discotech app is your magic talisman that unlocks a multitude of crime-fighting superpowers including the ability not only to get into clubs free via guest lists, but also to line up VIP tables with ease. We strongly advise the latter option, because even a Wonder Woman in stilettos will need a break and a comfy couch to sit and rest those sore dancing feet in between her episodes of saving the world.

5) Royal Tea like Royalty – Afternoon Tea

afternoon tea at Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): Tea Lounge @ Waldorf Astoria Hotel (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $54 (includes assorted tea, sandwiches, scones, desserts)
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 11:00AM-4:00PM (avoid outdoor midday heat)

Is your crew less Supergirl and Captain Marvel and more Princess Diana and Meghan Markle? Three seatings occur daily in their 23rd-floor tea lounge, where you and your royal court can soak up a refined ambiance and indulge spectacular views of Las Vegas through floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to the classic black, green, oolong and herbal selections, The Waldorf also offers a variety of modern artisan blends touting the latest new-age regenerative health benefits. And of course, since this is Vegas you can always choose at any moment to turn that refined, relaxed afternoon tea up a notch with a bottle of bubbly, mimosas, or bellinis with just a snap of the finger. 6) Be a Reality TV Star – Upscale Lounges

Vandepump Cocktail Garden, La Vegas, NV

  • Time Length of Activity: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 7:00PM-10:00PM (great for pregame dinner /drinks before nightclub)

If you and your gals bond weekly over good ‘ol trashy reality TV, then you know that many of the most emotionally charged scenes seem to happen when your favorite characters are dressed to the nines and quaffing champagne and cocktails in one of their city’s hottest upscale lounges. Vegas has quite a few of these hotspots to choose from, but why not go with the one that’s the brainchild of one of reality TV’s biggest superstars? Renovated and relaunched in 2019 by British TV personality Lisa Vanderpump (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Vanderpump Cocktail Gadden boasts a sprawling indoor patio layout that weirdly feels outdoor, with pink-accented booths and a full bar adorned with garden decor, lantern-adorned trellises, romantic lighting, and walls and furniture showcasing Vanderpump family pictures (including numerous of her adorable canine children). Cocktail names are witty, such as the matcha-infused Matcha Matcha Man, paying homage to the Village People tune; the spicy Checkmate Bitch, a provocative combination of Stoli Hot vodka and Chacho aguardiente (a jalapeño-infused Colombian spirit from sugar cane) named after an unforgettable Vanderpump rant from Season 3 of the show; and the Rome is Burning, a smoked black cherry Manhattan laced with black cherry chocolate bitters, served tableside in a large smoking jar. It’s a classy yet inviting Hollywood-style supper club that turns into an ultra lounge “see and be seen” scene at night – a drinking / dining / mingling destination whether you’re a superfan of the Real Housewives franchise or not, and the perfect spot to reenact your favorite dramatic scenes, real or staged, from your favorite reality TV characters.

  • Cost Per Person: $20
  • Time To Set Aside: 2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 7:00PM-10:00PM (more of the signs are lit up at night)

Here’s what happens when the “What Happens in Vegas Stays In Vegas” mantra clashes with the “Pics or It Didn’t Happen” philosophy. Founded in 1996, The Neon Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. The Neon Museum campus includes the outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard Main Collection, the Neon Boneyard North Gallery, which houses additional rescued signs, and a Visitors’ Center housed inside the former La Concha Motel lobby. The Main Collection contains more than 200 unrestored signs which are, at sunset, illuminated with ground lighting as well as numerous restored signs which are switched on at all hours of the day. The Boneyard is also available for personal and commercial photo/video shoots, and it’s open seven days a week – hours vary based on the season – so the bachelorette and her crew full of amateur IG models and influencers will have no trouble landing those perfect snaps for locking down those “Likes” and “Follows” (or just never-to-be-posted fun memories).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7grAY9lZ83I&feature=youtu.be

  • Cost Per Person: $44 (includes class plus one cocktail)
  • Time To Set Aside: 2 hours

Perhaps the last thing you want to do is go to school while on your Vegas vacation… unless it’s a fun group class that’s a perfect female bonding activity for a Vegas bachelorette bash. Taught by actual Las Vegas strippers and featured on E! News and in Cosmopolitan magazine, Stripper 101 is conveniently located on the Strip and covers all the basic movements and techniques aspects for executing lap dances and stripper pole dances. The fun starts at the Showgirl Bar next to the studio, where guests enjoy warm-up cocktails in order to loosen the limbs (and inhibitions) while mixing, mingling, and posing for group photos. The 75-minute class is chock-full of expert tips on how to tease and titillate like Sin City’s most seasoned professionals, and it culminates with a high-energy choreographed routine for the bride-to-be to show off to her fiancee… and for you to show off to friends and strangers at future house parties.

9) Ride ‘Em Cowgirl – Mechanical Bull

Mechanical Bull Ring @ PBR RockBar, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): PBR Rockbar @ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $10 for 1-2 rides (depending on demand at time of visit)
  • Time To Set Aside: 20 minutes per rider in your posse
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00PM-11:30PM (after-dinner crowds are larger, giving bar more energy)

Is your bachelorette a farmer’s daughter or a good ol’ country girl? Deep in the heart of Tex… – ahem, Vegas – is a rodeo-themed gem of a drinking post that draws country-loving bachelorette parties (not to mention barrel-chested plaid-shirted cowboys looking to line dance). Located on the highly trafficked Strip side of Planet Hollywood’s famed Miracle Mile Shops, PBR Rock Bar & Grill is a Professional Bull Riders affiliated mega-venue that truly epitomizes the phrase “a little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll.” Rock Bar is a sprawling, modern, 16,800 square-foot backyard barbecue featuring two DJ booths, and hundreds of big screen TVs lining the bar. However, its crown jewel – or is it its shiny, oversized belt buckle? – is its massive hydraulic mechanical bull at its center, mounted and ridden in constant rotation by buxom staff and ballsy tourists. The bull is totally female-friendly – more women than men dare to try it out, and the staff often offers free rides to bachelorette parties – so step on up, squeeze tight, pull the bull rope, and lean back for the greatest ride of your life. Getting bucked off (and having the video to prove it) will never feel so good, especially if you’ve already had a few of PBR Rockbar’s signature frozen cocktails to work up that liquid cowgirl courage. Giddy up!

10) Guns A-Blazin’ – Shooting Range

Bachelorette party at 702 Range - Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): The Range 702 (Off Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $90 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-5:00PM (air-conditioned indoor activity to beat the heat)

What is marriage, other than just day after day of wingin’ it and shootin’ from the hip? So, give the bride-to-be the ultimate preparation for endless years of wedded bliss: a once-in-a-lifetime experience letting off pre-emptive marital steam firing guns at the shooting range. The Range 702’s recently renovated private VIP ranges are available to reserve for large parties and come with complimentary beverage and optional upgrades such as private round-trip transportation, direct entry into your own range with a luxurious sofa, and advanced instruction and firearm tutorial from a highly skilled range officer. The Range 702 carries more than 60 types of firearms to choose from – including full automatic machine guns, semi-automatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns – as well as plenty of space to take pictures and videos to capture memories you’ll be talking about with the ladies for life… or at least, up until the end of the wedding when the bride rides off into the sunset, never to return your calls or texts again. But hey, you’ll always have those crazy Vegas memories!

11) Get Lost, Take A Hike – Outdoor Hiking

Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): Red Rock Canyon (Off Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $5 park entry fee (parking $15 per car)
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 4:00PM-8:00PM (avoid brutal midday heat, plus sunset skies are more colorful)

Got some gym rats and health nuts in the bachelor party demanding to break a healthy sweat at some point in the weekend? Located a few miles west of Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is not conveniently on the Strip, but it’s worth the travel and offers a variety of challenging hiking trails, world-class climbing, biking, and even overnight camping in select areas. We know you came to Vegas for the beautiful views though, and Red Rock Canyon is the perfect day trip for nature/photography lovers and Instagram influencers alike. If you’re lucky, you might even see some majestic wild burros or horses while you’re out on those trails getting your exercise on and sweating out the night before… or preemptively burning calories for the night to come. Oh, you meant a different kind of beautiful views? Red Rock has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for the impossibly fit local males (and females) who tend bars, serve cocktails, or otherwise drive the Vegas economy on the basis of their stunning good looks.

Bonus Activity: Strip Clubs

Men of Sapphire gentlemen's club
  • Venue (Location): Varies depending by price
  • Cost Per Person: $20 cover charge (lap dance / champagne room prices vary)
  • Time To Set Aside: Umm… zero hours. None of you were ever here, right?
  • Best Time of Day to Go: Anytime

This is Sin City, where day feels like night, night looks like day, and you can do WHATEVER you want WHENEVER you want. For bachelorette parties looking to live this mantra and get wilder and raunchier, a late-night strip club trip in Las Vegas is a common item on the agenda. Sometimes, those best-laid plans go off the rails – you stay at the nightclub too long, the bachelorette wanders off, one of the gals ends up requiring medical attention. The great news is that there are NO rules in Vegas, so you can keep that strip club visit on the agenda and sneak over to get your fill of eye candy at any time of the day. For the best male strip club experience in Vegas, we recommend you route the girls to Crazy Horse or Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club; if your party has more of “the girls who like girls” in tow, Spearmint Rhino is the #1 choice as much in daytime as it is at night when it comes to quality of women. Either way, a strip club is a tried-and-true way to put the cherry on top of your epic Vegas hen-do (and might be the last time the bride-to-be can get away with going to an establishment of this nature).

In conclusion: Las Vegas is definitely a place where things can escalate quickly in terms of bachelorette party expenses, especially with a few bad beats or unlucky turns of the wheels or reels.  Nevertheless, Sin City is still a magical landscape where tons of fun can be had at great value for your crew’s budget big or small… if you know the lay of the land. Your friends and nightlife guides here at Discotech are an essential part of that equation – we help you browse and book free guest lists and cheap presale tickets or VIP bottle service for the hottest nightclubs and pool parties in Las Vegas. What are you waiting for? Top 13 Best Bachelor Party Daytime Activities In Las Vegas

Headed to Sin City for a stag (bachelor) party soon? Other than dayclubs and nightclubs, you’ll need to plan afternoon and early-evening group activities for the bachelor and the group that are fun and memorable while still giving you the most value for your money spent.

The Las Vegas that most out-of-town visitors know is the one of sheer opulence, fast money, gluttonous excess, glitzy sensory overload, and high-stakes swings in fortune.  Of course, the locals and insiders are happy to indulge all those “Sin City” stereotypes, because that’s the version that many tourists pay handsomely to witness – hey, there’s no business like show business!

And Las Vegans (hilarious, but yes that’s what they’re called) play the fiddle in tune because “a fool and his money are soon parted” as the old saying goes.   Hey, there’s a reason why there’s no state income tax in Las Vegas: millions of visitors a year foot those locals’ tax bills via hotel taxes, entertainment taxes, sales taxes, and all other taxes on general debauchery (and stupidity).

Why is planning a bachelor party so hard?

That’s the question that you ask yourself as you let out a big sigh, open up your laptop and hop on the internets, and get to work on mapping out this epic weekend in Vegas.  As you start your search, you know you’re not totally a lost puppy – you’ve partied in Vegas many times in the past with and without the man of honor, and you’ve got numerous friends in high and low places who are willing to offer sound and not-so-sound recommendations – but of course you wouldn’t mind having a professional to guide you.   You know, someone who can take all those half-formed suggestions floating around and give you accurate, actionable answers?

Enter Discotech – your ultimate solution for lining up the Stag Party dayclub and nightclub festivities. But apart from any clubbing the crew will be doing, you’ll absolutely need to do some group activity planning to appease the guys who aren’t really into DJs and dance floors. Some of those options are cliche, but who cares: Vegas is the cliche Bachelor Party destination, and it earned that title for a legit reason, didn’t it???  Look, we know you’re here for a good time, not a long time… so you’ll need some expert guidance to help narrow down your choices to round out your ideal bachelor party agenda.

And lo and behold, that’s where we come through for you once again! Here, in order of our highly experienced customer service staff’s preferences, is our Discotech Top 13 list of best and most entertaining bachelor party activities in Las Vegas – you know, cool stuff to do when you’re NOT at a restaurant or nightclub – that your bachelor party would do well to line up during those lazy daytime/afternoon hours.

1) Get Wet – Pool Party

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwIfGlQmOl4&t=1m25s
  • Venue (Location): Varies by price and music type (click here for Vegas pool party recommendations)
  • Cost Per Person: Free (certain guest lists); $10-150 (discounted guest lists & presale tickets); $300 and up (VIP tables)
  • Time Length of Activity: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 11:00AM-1:00PM (avoid long lines and waits)

Seems predictable, but sorry not sorry gents: this activity HAS to be #1 and #1A on any Vegas summer bachelor party list. Why? Pool parties are a legendary daytime activity that epitomizes glitzy Sin City debauchery, and you just can’t get the high-quality Vegas versions of this revelry anywhere else in the world. At least one of these parties on your bachelor weekend agenda is a must; even for guys who don’t like nightclubs, the eye candy, sunshine, cool plunges to beat the heat (and did we mention eye candy?) make it worth it. You can even step it up by reserving a cabana with VIP bottle service. For any bachelor party larger than four 4-5 gents, it’s a no-brainer to book a cabana or daybed with bottle service in order to maximize the fun; for a smaller stag-do or one that wants variety, we suggest booking a pool party crawl. Find one of the hottest events going on that weekend using our Discotech app, and go see one of your favorite DJs or performing artists. Or spice up your trip by going to a hip hop club. For a Saturday day party, Encore Beach Club and Wet Republic are the best party scenes if money ain’t a thang: between the killer music lineups, badass surroundings, and (did we mention) eye candy, these two venues are head-and-shoulders above the rest if your bachelor is into nothing but the best.

2) Move Mountains – Heavy Machinery

Dig This Excavation Excursion / Activity, Las Vegas, NV

Countless friends tell you about that time they partied at that one dayclub or nighclub in Vegas. Very few, if any, will tell you about that time they went to Vegas… and frisbeed a 1,000-lb tire using a Caterpillar crane. If your crew wants to chalk up a truly epic story while fulfilling one of your childhood fantasies – the clean ones, not the ones about Britney Spears! – then turn them into a construction crew by booking an excursion at Dig This! You’ll get the choice of running a bulldozer or an excavator (the thing with the big claw on the end) and trust us, it is WAY more of a blast than you’ll think. Once the bachelor is seated the heavy machinery cab wielding the levers of that 70-ton vehicle, the testosterone coursing through his veins will make him temporarily forget about those pesky wedding flower arrangements and venue visits… while allowing him to redirect all that pent-up stress towards his Bridezilla towards harmless mounds of dirt.

  • Venue (Location): Dig This (Off Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $143 and up
  • Time Length of Activity: 1.5-2.5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM-1:00PM (avoid the brutal mid-afternoon desert heat)

3) Touch The Skies – Ace Combat

  • Venue (Location): Sky Combat Ace (Off-Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $299 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-1:00PM (when the skies are the bluest, duh)

You and the bachelor know every word of the movie Top Gun and apply quotes from it to everything from coffee runs to yard work. Now is your chance to grab your aviator shades, decide who’s Maverick and who’s Goose, and take a highway to the danger zone.  Sky Combat Ace is the closest you’ll ever get to feeling the rush of a fighter pilot dancing through the skies. Book the Top Gun package, then get behind the controls and – with the aid of certified badass instructor – pull off torque rolls, tail spins, hammerhead stalls, and other “just as cool as it sounds to say” acrobatic maneuvers. But don’t stop there: SCA also offers air combat experiences, where you can ride along or pilot during simulated aerial dogfights and low level bombing runs. A perfect memory for the loyal soon-to-be groom who always went to war with you.

4) Rev Your Engines – Exotic Car Racing

  • Venue (Location): Exotics Racing Las Vegas (Off-Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $199 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM-1:00PM (outdoor activity; avoid the brutal mid-afternoon desert heat)

Remember the high school days when you and the bachelor tooled around town in either his broken-down Toyota Camry or your broken-down Honda Accord? Time to celebrate coming up and making it big, and there’s no better way to do that than making those adolescent fantasies a reality with a one-of-a-kind driving experience at Exotics Racing. At the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, home of several NASCAR races each year, you can spend the day behind the wheel of magnificently tuned high-powered vehicles straight out of a Hollywood action flick: Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and Porsches, all gassed up and ready to go. As the original, best-rated, and largest supercar driving experience in the world, Exotics Racing offers a variety of driving packages and group discounts to choose from to tear up its 1.2-mile race course pushing the speed and handling limits of its high-octane fleet. Pick from over 50 dream cars to take for a spin… but only after you’ve picked your action movie star driver nickname for the day. Dom Toretto? James Bond? Bruce Wayne? The Transporter?

5) Drive for Show, Putt for Dough – Golf / TopGolf

Topgolf Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): TopGolf (South Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $30.00 and up per hour (bay rental; does not include club rental or buckets of balls)
  • Time To Set Aside: 3-4 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 5:00PM-9:00PM (twilight skies offer majestic backdrop for watching balls take flight)

All the while, food and beverages are served to golfers tableside (or is it teeside?) by peppy, easy-on-the-eyes waitresses. And if some in the big bachelor group want to wander, the facility has a swimming pool, a full-service restaurant, multiple bars, several indoor lounges with flat-screen TVs, pool tables, shuffleboard, cornhole, and a stage where bands play live music on certain nights.

6) Paint The Town Red – Paintball

Men in suits at Las Vegas Premier Paintball
  • Venue (Location): Las Vegas Premier Paintball (Off-Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $40 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 10:00AM-1:00PM (outdoor activity; avoid the brutal mid-afternoon desert heat)

Let’s face it: 48-72 straight hours of drinking, staying up late, busting friends’ balls, and losing money and/or self-respect in Sin City is a surefire recipe for building tension among bachelor party members. The most efficient way of relieving that tension – one that doesn’t involve even more drinking or gambling – is to shoot each other. With painful, embarrassment-inducing pellets of paint. Repeatedly. While talking trash. That’s where Las Vegas Premier Paintball steps in: three fields of intense, colorful, messy faux warfare to bring all nerd-tastic closure to all group arguments. Request the opportunity to compete in teams against each other – you can split the teams according to whatever makes sense, e.g. college buddies vs. childhood/work friends. Or you can match up as one unified group against a collection of individual hired guns. Lay down some legit bets – losers buy dinner and dances, shots for every time you get shot, first to faint from the heat walks home – and proceed to take this activity WAY more seriously than anyone should.

7) Channel your inner “KOBE!” – Beer Pong

Beer Pong tables at O'Sheas Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): O’Sheas Pub & Casino @ LINQ Promenade (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $7.00 ($28.00 for one pitcher of beer plus server gratuity, 20 plastic cups, and 2 ping pong balls; use of beer pong tables is first-come, first-serve
  • Time To Set Aside: 1-2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 8:00PM-11:00PM (cover band comes on around 9PM, plus post-dinner plus nightclub pregame crowds offer higher-energy scene)

With its brightly lit neon “O” sign beckoning thirsty patrons strolling down the prime location of retail and entertainment that is the LINQ Promenade, O’Sheas Casino has a fair share of tourist traffic wandering in and out at all hours of the day. As the sun goes down, that foot traffic tends to linger a bit longer… and the world-class beer pong tables – well-kept with glossy surfaces and eye-catching O’Sheas branding – are the key reason why. Sure, they’ve got a great Happy Hour specials, $5 table games, an Irish cover band slapping 90s and 2000s hits, and even a leprechaun pouring shooters down visitors’ throats. But let’s be honest: your bachelor crew came here specifically to take part in beer pong table after glorious beer pong table, and to take on the crowd of revelers lining up to stake claim to your “Best Pongers in Your Hometown” title. It’s a competitive but super-friendly and super inexpensive atmosphere… so get down to LINQ and shoot your shot, champs!

8) Hold ‘Em or Fold ‘Em – Poker

Bellagio Poker Room @ Bellagio Las Vegas
  • Venue (Location): Poker Room @ Bellagio Resort & Casino (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: ~$10/hour to tip dealer, plus $100-200 poker chips buy-in
  • Time To Set Aside: 2-3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-6:00PM (less crowded plus good post-lunch activity)

For a bachelor party group that enjoys partaking in games of chance – or just doesn’t want to venture outside the air-conditioned casino – a group game of poker could be what the doctor ordered. It’s common Vegas locals knowledge that Bellagio has the double fortune of having one of the best sportsbooks AND one of the best poker rooms in Vegas… and they’re right next door to each other . At nearly 7,000 square feet featuring 40 high-quality tables meeting World Poker Tour specifications, the Bellagio poker room has ample space to cordon off a private table plus card dealer for the bachelor and his rounders. Drinks and food may be ordered while playing cards, and for a modest gratuity you can enlist a staff member – or one of the many poker pros that hang out here – to teach the novices in your group the basics of classic game like Texas Hold ‘Em or an exotic format like Pot-Limit Omaha. Added bonus: when the cards run dry for any of the fish in your group, they are only a few steps away from making a well-timed sports bet to win their money back.

9) Ride ‘Em Cowboy – Mechanical Bull

Mechanical Bull Ring @ PBR RockBar, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): PBR Rockbar @ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $10 for 1-2 rides (depending on demand at time of visit)
  • Time To Set Aside: 20 minutes per rider in your posse
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00PM-11:30PM (after-dinner crowds are larger, giving bar more energy)

Is your bachelor a good ol’ country boy? Deep in the heart of Tex… – ahem, Vegas – is a rodeo-themed gem of a drinking post that draws country-loving bachelorette parties. Giddy up!

10) Kick Up Desert Dust – Dune Buggies

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lpa1g-dJY4Q
  • Venue (Location): SunBuggy Fun Rentals (Off Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $124
  • Time To Set Aside: 4-5 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 9:00AM-12:00PM (to ensure you return early enough to rest, shower, and grab a bite before going out)

If the bachelor party is looking for less chill and more thrill, then there are a handful of daytime activities that require participants to sign a Death or Dismemberment waiver. Sun Buggy is one of these unforgettable heart-pounding experiences: you careen through the rolling sand dunes of Nevada in one-person or two-person dune buggies, holding onto your camera phone with one hand and holding on for dear life with the other. You can do a leisurely tour through the desert, or true adrenaline junkies can opt for the more competitive Vegas Mini Baja Chase, voted “Sin City’s Best Near Death Experience!” by Rolling Stone Magazine. A 30-minute race through the Vegas Dunes, the Baja Chase is the perfect way to get your blood flowing, and sweating out the toxins from last night. Because the answer to “But did you die?” in reference to a Vegas trip should always be “Almost!”

11) Guns A-Blazin’ – Shooting Range

  • Venue (Location): The Gun Store Las Vegas (Off Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $90 and up
  • Time To Set Aside: 3 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 2:00PM-5:00PM (air-conditioned indoor activity to beat the heat)

What is marriage, other than just day after day of wingin’ it and shootin’ from the hip? So, give the bachelor the ultimate preparation for endless years of wedded bliss: a once-in-a-lifetime experience letting off pre-emptive marital steam firing guns at the shooting range. The Gun Store’s recently renovated private VIP ranges are available to reserve for large parties and come with complimentary beverage and optional upgrades such as private round-trip transportation, direct entry into your own range with a luxurious sofa, and advanced instruction and firearm tutorial from a highly skilled range officer so you can really get to know the firearms your party is firing off. The Gun Store carries more than 60 types of firearms to choose from – including full automatic machine guns, semi-automatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns – as well as plenty of space to take pictures and videos to capture memories you’ll be talking about with the fellas for life… or at least, up until the end of the wedding when the groom rides off into the sunset, never to return your calls or texts again. But hey, you’ll always have those Vegas memories!

12) Get Lost, Take A Hike – Red Rock Canyon

Oh, you meant a different kind of beautiful views? Red Rock has those too: it’s a not-so-secret outdoor workout hotspot for the impossibly fit local women who tend bars, serve cocktails, or otherwise drive the Vegas economy on the basis of their stunning good looks.

13) Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down – Bowling

brooklyn bowl lanes, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Venue (Location): Brooklyn Bowl @ LINQ Promenade (Center Strip)
  • Cost Per Person: $7.45 ($20.00 per lane per half hour, up to 8 guests per lane; $4.95 per person shoe rental)
  • Time To Set Aside: 1-2 hours
  • Best Time of Day to Go: 4:00PM-9:00PM (Happy Hour from 5-6pm, plus young / hip / lively crowd begins arriving for concerts beginning at 9pm)

Blew all your money at the roulette table on the first day and need to call an audible? Located on the LINQ Promenade just steps away from the High Roller Ferris wheel, Brooklyn Bowl is an ultra-hip yet ultra-affordable upscale bowling alley, not to mention a well-loved restaurant by Vegas locals (their Blue Ribbon fried chicken is some of the best in the city). Brooklyn Bowl successfully transplanted the NYC hipster swagger into the desert – with swanky chesterfield sofas, fetching waiter and waitresses, and full-bodied craft beers and cocktails – but thankfully left the NYC prices on the East Coast. As an added bonus, Brooklyn Bowl shines as a “Vegas locals favorite” concert venue showcasing heavyweight names in reggae, alt-rock, and other lightweight music genres that have rabid followings. Concerts here are standing-room only, but guests can also reserve VIP sections to the left of the stage which come with leather sofas, food/beverage table service, and of course use of the bowling lanes in between music acts (or even during, if you’re not a fan) Brooklyn Bowl is one of the more affordable ways to catch live music on the Strip and thus always draws a crowd.

Bonus Activity: Ladies of the Night… In the Day?

  • Venue (Location): Varies depending by price
  • Cost Per Person: $20 cover charge (lap dance / champagne room prices vary)
  • Time To Set Aside: Umm… zero hours. None of you were ever here, right?
  • Best Time of Day to Go: Anytime

This is Sin City, where day feels like night, night looks like day, and you can do WHATEVER you want WHENEVER you want. For 99% of Vegas bachelor parties, a late-night strip club trip is a standard item on the agenda. Sometimes, those best-laid plans go off the rails – you stay at the nightclub too long, you lose the bachelor, one of the guys ends up in the hospital. The great news is that there are NO rules in Vegas, so you can put that gentlemen’s club visit right back on the Google calendar. When it comes to quality of women, Spearmint Rhino is the #1 choice as much in daytime as it is at night; for a more epic experience however, route the herd to Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club for a standard strip club below plus a raunchy pool party on the rooftop; it’s the tried-and-true way to put the cherry on top of your epic Vegas bachelor party (and might be the last time the bachelor can get away with going to an establishment of this nature).

In conclusion: Las Vegas is definitely a place where things can escalate quickly in terms of bachelor party expenses, especially with a few bad beats or unlucky turns of the wheels or reels.  Nevertheless, it is still a magical landscape where fun can be had at great value for your crew’s hard earned dollars… if you know the lay of the land. When Will Las Vegas Nightclubs / Pool Parties Reopen?

Casinos will look very different when they can finally reopen. The Nevada Gaming Control Board issued its guidelines for casinos to resume gaming operations once Gov. Steve Sisolak lifts his order for all nonessential businesses to close.

As of today, the official guidelines state that nightclubs and dayclub pool parties at a casino must remain closed, although pools can reopen with seating arranged with social distancing in mind. From the Nevada Gaming Control Board guidelines:

Nightclubs and Dayclubs. Nightclubs and dayclubs within a licensee’s property mustbe closed until further notice

omnia las vegas closed coronavirus

Restaurants and bars in casinos also will need to rearrange seating with social distancing protocols.

In most cases, the board recommends following safety guidelines “issued by federal, state, and local governing authorities with respect to the operation of hotels, restaurants, retail establishments, and pools.”

Casinos can only open at 50 percent capacity and will need to limit the number of people allowed inside. The board also recommends frequent hand washing by staff, cleaning and social distancing at table games and slot machines, hand sanitizer available to visitors, and training on COVID-19 safety and disinfection protocols in English and Spanish for staff.

The board notes its guidelines represent minimum requirements that should be followed, and casinos can develop their own requirements. Wynn Las Vegas and the Venetian and Palazzo already released plans for cleaning, protections, and social distancing.

Sisolak revealed a phased-in plan for reopening the state for business last Thursday, but extended the state’s stay-at-home order through May 15. Casinos may be allowed to reopen in phase three or four, depending on whether COVID-19 cases continue to drop, hospitals can handle new cases, and additional testing capacity in the state. Nevada is technically in phase zero of reopening, according to Sisolak.

After opening, it will be fun as usual. You’ll need information on the guestlist of pool parties as well. You can visit Vegas Pool Party Guest List to gain information.

Encore Beach Club at Wynn Encore (EDM)

Crowded Pool Party called Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas

Forget Disneyland, Encore Beach Club is known to many Vegas pool partygoers as “the happiest place on earth”. And after spending a day at EBC it would be hard to disagree with them: Encore’s impressive layout boasts a 50,000 square foot space complete with lounges, couches, daybeds, cabanas, bungalows, lily pads, 3 pools, a state of the art sound system, champagne showers, and even a gaming pavilion.

Not only is the pool always clean and the EDM music great, but the dance floor is also easily accessible and food is served straight to your cabana (always a bonus). Encore Beach Club’s resident DJs include world renowned talents such as The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Kygo, Alesso, Diplo, and more.  Best of all, during the summer Encore turns into EBC at Night; so put on your swimsuit, jump in the pool and party with your favorite DJ under the stars!

Drai’s Beach Club at Cromwell (Hip Hop)

A Busy Pool Party at Drais Beach Club at the Cromwell Las Vegas

All the way up on the 11th floor of The Cromwell, Drai’s Beach Club towers over what is arguably the busiest intersection in Vegas. During the daytime, it’s a beach pool party on steroids; as night falls, it evolves into an upscale, high-voltage nightclub. The dayclub features an unblocked rooftop which provides an unrivaled view of the Red Rock Mountains far off in the distance and the Bellagio fountains, located right across the street. The club is outfitted with a central pool surrounded by palm trees while pink curtains shroud the second-floor cabanas adorned with HD TVs – but with all the beautiful people dancing along to a live DJ, it’s doubtful anyone will be watching much television.

On the flipside, the nightclub is a two-story indoor space that faces the dayclub pool and is decked with shiny black semi-circular booths and a horseshoe DJ station, all surrounded by columns decorated with tons of postage stamp-sized mirrors. Drai’s will most often be playing top 40 / hip-hop but it will depend on the DJ. The nightclub regularly features some of the biggest name hip-hop artists in the world including 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent, Gucci Mane, Migos, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, TY Dolla $ign, and more.  On occasion they’ll bring in EDM DJs such as Quintino or Sidney Samson; on those days you’ll get a mix of hip-hop and EDM. We highly recommend checking out the upcoming schedule before planning your trip!

Pro-tip: Hotel guests at the Cromwell get free access to the dayclub!

Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan (EDM)

View of the Massive Pool Party Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan

A sprawling club complex located in the heart of Vegas, Marquee is arguably one of the key figures of the Stateside dance music revolution. Split into Marquee Dayclub – a luxurious, sun-filled poolside space open during summer – and Marquee Nightclub, which is further split into The Boom Box Room, Library and Main Room, Marquee is undoubtedly one of the most impressive venues in the whole of the US.

If you’re still skeptical, just wait until you hear about Marquee’s sound and light systems: a Funktion One sound system with 32,000-waitt subwoofers and a state-of-the-art audio-visual stage set-up designed by singer Steve Liberman. Marquee provides nothing but the best to accommodate the high flyers that have been known to frequent the venue. The dayclub itself features three-story Bungalow Lofts complete with cabanas, living quarters, and grand Las Vegas pool cabanas with infinity pools and a party deck on top. Featuring artists such as Alan Walker, Robin Schulz, Deorro, Gorgon City, Cedric Gervais, and Oliver Helders, you can expect that this place gets WILD.

Wet Republic at MGM Grand (EDM)

DJ Tiesto Performing at Wet Republic Pool Party in Las Vegas

A playground for partygoers and celebrities alike, Wet Republic at MGM Grand combines the best elements of Vegas nightlife with superior poolside accommodations to create the ultimate pool party experience. The unrivaled hot spot provides a variety of experiences for its guests, whether it’s relaxing over cocktails in the poolside lounge, chilling in exclusive VIP bungalows, or basking under the sun amidst the party scene on the main pool deck.

MGM Grand’s 54,500 square-foot pool recently underwent a $3.574 million remodel to renovate 18,400 square feet of the space. Just last year, the pool debuted an expanded DJ booth, upgraded LED display, extended bar and new furniture. The latest renovations add six new VIP bungalows equipped with furnishings like TVs, misting fans and three private plunge pools. New restrooms and shower facilities as well as an extended shade area have also been added. The venue boasts a setlist as impressive as its facilities: resident DJs and artists include Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tyga, Afrojack and many more.

Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay (Hip Hop)

Busy Pool Party with DJ at Daylight Beach Club Las Vegas

While Daylight Beach Club may not be the oldest club in the game (it made its debut summer 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino) it’s certainly gone on to become one of the hottest dayparty spots in Las Vegas. DBC features 70 daybeds, 25 cabanas, 6 LED screens, and a 5,000 square-foot pool. The venue is spacious and provides tons of room to explore, a breath of fresh air from the shoulder-to-shoulder clubbing you’ll find at other spots.

Daylight initially began playing primarily EDM, but with last year’s change in management its vibe has quickly shifted to a Hip-Hop / top 40 vibe. Some of the resident musicians at Daylight include T-Pain, Rick Ross, Saweetie, Jeezy, Morgan Page, and Duke Dumont.  It’s open during Vegas’s summer pool season, which usually begins late March/early April and runs up until Labor Day.

Pro tip: We have a free guestlist for girls and even ratio parties that includes drink tickets!

Ayu Dayclub at Resorts World

Ayu Dayclub is an outdoor paradise that takes direct inspiration from nature as they attempted (and we’d say succeeded) to establish harmony and balance throughout the venue, and the stunning islands of Southeast Asia also served as an influence on the overall design and themes. As our guests wander through the beach club, a series of Instagram-worthy moments should take place as the beauty around you compliments the raging party going on. On both levels of this 41,000 square foot facility, there are plenty of chaise couches, various day beds, and countless cabanas for you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the music. The design incorporates natural features such as stone, bamboo, water, wood, and gravel to create a soothing feeling that is unmatched at any other dayclub. So what’s holding you back from watching some of the most talented artists of our time performing live while you sip an ice cold cocktail? Sign up for the free guestlist, purchase tickets, or reserve bottle service today!

Bare Pool at The Mirage (Hip Hop/ Top 40)

View of the Pool at Bare Pool Inside Mirage Las Vegas

Located in the Mirage, Bare Pool acts almost like a secret hideaway; to find it, one must trek down a winding pathway through a jungle oasis. Upon arrival, guests will find an intimate pool area where women are allowed to wander topless. Bare offers a more relaxing, chill atmosphere without the wall-to-wall, packed-in feeling of some of the other clubs listed. You’ll find 14,000 square-feet of not one but two luxury dipping pools, a full-service bar, six plasma screens, poolside daybeds, chaise lounge chairs and cabanas. As with many Vegas pool clubs, expect to find a seemingly-endless number of beautiful people, seeing and looking to be seen.

As you might have guessed, the atmosphere at Bare Pool is a lot more chill and laid-back than that of other dayclubs and pools. If you’re looking for an out-of-control rager, you’ll want to skip Bare. If you’re looking for a place to kick back and chill with friends with some great background music, Bare Pool is the place to be!

TAO Beach at Venetian (Hip Hop / Top 40)

Cabanas and Pool View at Intimate TAO Beach at Venetian Las Vegas

After it’s recent mega renovation, Tao Beach has evolved into the ultimate dayclub experience. This 47,000 sq ft electric pool party has been fully equipped with the newest in everything sound and lighting, giving you a brilliant show that you’ll be able to feel in your bones. Sitting atop the famous TAO Asian Bistro and Nightclub, visitors are transported into an exotic Balinese escape filled with so much beauty and hedonism you’ll lose track of time. On a weekly basis the seasonal pool club features music from internationally acclaimed DJs and even has celebrity appearances like Jay Z, Heidi Klum, Jamie Foxx, and many more.

As you enter, you’ll find yourself in an open-air club with two 14-foot fire columns, dynamic music from resident and international guest DJs, and strategically-placed daybeds and cabanas that are excellent for resting and hanging out with friends while still being right in the middle of the action. Trust us when we say you don’t want to leave Vegas before checking this party out.

Bonus: XS Nightswim at the Wynn (EDM)

Are you a fan of nightclubs? How about pool parties? A few nightclubs in Las Vegas have combined the two to create the nightswim –  the pool party at night.

The Sunday nightswim at XS is the undisputed king. Featuring dry 80 degree nights, beautiful people, and the biggest DJs in the world, nightswims are a unique experience that are essential to any Vegas trip. XS does not host a day party so your only opportunity to get in the water at the King of Clubs is the Sunday XS nightswim.

XS nightswim on Sundays is THE best party in Vegas, hosting up to 5,000 people in a gorgeous venue. Party to the beats of DJs and artists such as The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Diplo, Alesso, Kygo, and Drake. If you’re in Vegas Sunday night, you need to be at this party.

Since the opening of Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel in 2003, the day-clubbing phenomenon has turned Las Vegas into a 24-hour party paradise.

Of all America’s major cities, only Phoenix and Arizona matches Las Vegas for sunshine. On average, 85% of the hours from dawn until dusk are showered in golden rays meaning it’s always pool weather here. Since the weather is phenomenal, the big hotels all compete to build better and more elaborate spaces for bathing and partying. Caesars’ recently revamped Garden of the Gods complex.

But, since this is Las Vegas, merely splashing around in water is not enough, no matter how cool the pool. In the past 10 years, the non-stop party vibe of Las Vegas has been cranked up a notch with the introduction of the day club. For the real money-no-object VIP experience, book a cabana.

Kaos Nightclub & Dayclub CLOSED Indefinitely

Kaos Nightclub and Dayclub is officially closing, according to a report from the Las Vegas Review Journal.

On Tuesday, Red Rock reported a net loss of $26.8 million in the third quarter, down $51.9 million from the same period last year. In a statement, they said:

“This afternoon, Red Rock Resorts, Inc. announced the closing of KAOS dayclub and nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort, effective immediately. While Palms has experienced exceptional growth across both the gaming and non-gaming segments of the business, the expense side of the business has been challenging to date, due in large part to the entertainment and fixed cost structure associated with KAOS. Therefore, we have decided to take some time to reassess the programming and use of those venues going forward. In the interim, we intend to use the venues for private meeting space and special events, in addition to everyday resort pool operations.”

The nightclub opened with major residencies from acts like Skrillex and Marshmello earlier this year. It was reported that Marshmello, Skrillex, and many of the other residents exited the nightclub in September.
