Best San Diego Clubs with Free Guestlist

Looking for clubs in San Diego with no cover charge?

Being on a guest list for a club in SD typically allows you to get into the club for free or at a discounted price. You will typically have to arrive at the club earlier in order to get in on the guestlist – clubs offer this perk to fill up the venue early. Trying to figure out which clubs offer free guest list can be time consuming and confusing. Don’t worry – we’ll save you the trouble. Here is a list of the best clubs in San Diego that offer free a guest list.

Please note that the club reserves the right to cut guest list on any given night if the venue reaches capacity. Guest list details are also subject to change – you can find the latest details and events with guestlist on the Discotech app!

Omnia San Diego

Modeled after her sister club in Las Vegas, Omnia San Diego ups the ante for San Diego nightlife, featuring top tier EDM talent on a weekly basis, with DJs such as Gareth Emery, Afrojack, 3LAU, Calvin Harris, and Tiesto gracing the decks. Once in a while you’ll find some hip hop artists performing – we recommend checking the schedule in advance. There won’t be a guest list on nights with major talent (Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Tyga, etc) but on most nights you’ll find a free guest list before 10:30. On thursdays they have a hosted bar from 9:30-10:30 on the guest list. If you can’t make it by 10:30, we recommend getting tickets – use promo code DISCOTECH to save 20% on your tickets.

Side Bar SD to Close for Renovations

After an impressive, nearly 15-year run in the Gaslamp, Side Bar will temporarily suspend its industry nights, DJ sessions, and bottle service-fueled dance parties. The well-established bar, lounge, and nightclub is closing this Sunday, June 24 for a top-to-bottom renovation by RMD Group, which also operates the adjacent Ciro’s Pizzeria and Rustic Root and Volcano Rabbit in the Gaslamp

The remodel will reportedly take the venue in a more upscale and elevated direction. When it reopens this fall, Side Bar will feature a craft-ier cocktail menu as well as offer food service. A countdown to Sunday’s closing date starts tonight with its very last industry night, follow by the final Latin-inspired Stilo Thursday. Demolition Night is scheduled for Friday, with memorabilia and other pieces of the bar up for grabs, and an over-the-top “champagne war” blowout will go down on Saturday.
