Jewel at the Aria Grand Opening Set for Thursday 5/19/16

Ready for a new Las Vegas nightclub? Jewel Nightclub now says it plans to open at Aria on Thursday, May 19. The 24,000-square-foot nightclub takes over the former Haze space with a refresh from Rockwell Group.

The nightclub plans to have room for nearly 2,000 guests spanning over two spaces, the main club and a mezzanine level with its five exclusive VIP skyboxes.

Guests walk in through a series of tall, mirrored doors, while VIPs walk through a tunnel of arched bronze portals with an antique glass chandelier.

In the main club, more than 1,400 square feet of LED ribbons surround a circular dome ceiling that pulses to the rhythm of the music. Wood and granite VIP banquettes surround the dance floor in burgundy leather upholstery.

The deejay booth features a wall with dual-sided LED video screens and effects lighting. The main club bar is made from granite and wood all enclosed in a herringbone pattern.

A staircase with LED screens leads guests to the mezzanine level with its own bar, dance floor and five themed VIP skybox suites dubbed The Blind Tiger, The Studio, The G.O.A.T., The Prestige and The Gallery. Each has its own entrance.

The Blind Tiger is designed like a speakeasy with a secret doorway disguised as an armoire leading to a space filled with dark wood walls. The Studio features velvet-lined walls, vintage album covers and an artist-commissioned mural.

Sports memorabilia and “artistic interpretations of momentous sports moments” line The G.O.A.T., also known as Greatest of All Time. The Gallery is designed with fine art photography and wine-colored leather seating.

The Prestige is designed like a jewel box with champagne tufted walls and a polished, brass beaded chandelier.
